After spending three nights at the hotel, I honestly can’t imagine considering another hotel in Egypt. The food, service, and atmosphere was on another level. The airport lost my mom’s luggage and the hotel provided an emergency clothing kit and reached out to the airport to track the luggage and provided us with daily updates until the luggage was returned. The food tasted better than some of the best restaurants I’ve been to in America and the staff service was nothing short of exceptional. Can’t wait for my next visit.

We stayed at the Fairmont Nile City for 6 nights, our room was the Fairmont Gold Signature which was a fantastic room really spacious and luxurious. It also had the bonus of a balcony overlooking the nile which was great. As our room was Fairmont Gold we got access to the Gold lounge, meaning breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all included the service in the lounge was excellent a special shout out to Abdelrahman Ebrahim for his superb service throughout our stay. The hotel itself was great with plenty of other restaurants to try if you so wish, we went to Bab el Nil which has excellent regional cuisine. The spa was fantastic and we spent plenty of time relaxing by the rooftop which you could see (when clear) the pyramids from the roof. In terms of getting there from the airport it was around 30 minutes by taxi at a cost of £5 and to get to the Pyramids/GEM it was around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic at a cost of £4. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing and luxurious stay in Cairo.

Fairmont Gold, particularly with lounge access, is highly recommended. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mohamed Ismaeel and Irish for their exceptional hospitality.
