I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly appreciated the overall experience. The facilities were great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything was well organized. What made my stay especially memorable, however, was the exceptional service. I would like to give a special mention to Nourhene, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm and friendly attitude really made a difference. She is truly adorable and a great asset to the hotel. I would also like to thank the guest relations team for their professionalism and attentiveness. They were always available, very supportive, and ensured that all guests felt comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again!

My experience at the Golden Lounge on the executive floor of Fairmont Nile City Cairo has been absolutely wonderful. The food, the elegant atmosphere, and above all, the exceptional service from the entire team here have left a deep impression on me. I would like to specifically thank Marycris, Amr Nasser, and Ahmed for their incredibly professional and heartfelt care throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Amr Nasser, who patiently taught me how to enjoy traditional Egyptian dishes and even introduced me to the local culture with great enthusiasm. His guidance was both knowledgeable and warm, making my first experience of Egyptian cuisine truly unforgettable. Their attentive service truly let me feel the genuine hospitality of the Egyptian people. As a first-time visitor to Egypt, this perfect experience has given me an amazing and unforgettable impression of Cairo. I sincerely hope to return to Fairmont Nile City Cairo in the future, and I will definitely recommend this wonderful hotel to all my friends.

My husband and I arrived two nights ago. On day 1 (yesterday) we paid to upgrade our room to a suite. This suite includes FG lounge access. I was given a piece of paper which stipulates that no flip flops are allowed in the FG lounge. Unfortunately, some staff in the FG lounge do not seem to understand that guidance. Upon arriving at breakfast at the lounge this morning, I was very obviously looked up and down by a female staff member. This was inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable. She then stated that my footwear was not acceptable. Worth noting here that yesterday I wore the exact same footwear in the FG lounge many times throughout the day, and no one raised any concerns - because the footwear in question is decent quality Birkenstocks which are nothing at all like flip flops. This unfortunate situation became very embarrassing when I asked her to explain and she was unable to and merely stated she was "just doing her job". I suggest more dress code training would be a good idea. By this point there were about 4 other staff members staring at me - which only served to make me feel even more uncomfortable and unwelcome. If I had been wearing flip flops then point taken. But I wasn't. As such I asked to speak to the duty manager. He was able to clarify with them that my footwear was acceptable and would be for the rest of my stay. Fine, but this situation should never have happened in the first place. Whilst having breakfast I noticed that the staff attended every other guest asking if they needed anything, except my table. This made me continue to feel unwelcome. I also noticed two men subsequently being able to enter in actual flip flops, without any scenes caused by staff. The hotel is otherwise nice, the room is good and the rooftop pool excellent. Most staff are super-helpful and it's a real shame that the FG breakfast staff seem a bit lacking in understanding and customer services. I want to be able to feel welcome in the lounge I have paid for, and I hope this situation improved as I still have a week here.

A disappointing Fairmont experience, undermined by poor service on the Fairmont Gold floor. George Tharwat and Maria Chiu came across as arrogant and insincere, turning what should have been a simple breakfast into an unnecessary confrontation. We were denied access to our first breakfast under a vague “business lounge” policy, delivered with little clarity or empathy. This is not the level of hospitality expected from a premium brand. There was no effort to resolve the situation, only a rigid and dismissive approach that created avoidable stress at the start of the day. Thankfully, Mohamed stepped in and handled things professionally, resolving the issue with courtesy and efficiency. However, the damage was done. I do not expect this level of friction on holiday. Overall, a frustrating and underwhelming Fairmont experience.

Our stay at Fairmont Nile City was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere made the experience unforgettable. A special thank you goes to Mary Cris and Amr Nasser, who delivered outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, and their dedication truly reflects the high standards of the hotel. We highly recommend reserving Fairmont Gold for an elevated and luxurious experience—it’s absolutely worth it. And if you want to make your stay even more special, be sure to ask for Mary Cris and Amr Nasser. Their service alone is a reason to come back. Without a doubt, Fairmont Nile City is one of the best hotels, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
