Like the city itself, The Ritz-Carlton, Cairo carries a rich legacy of tradition and luxury. Overlooking the Nile River, the hotel continues along the path of decadence with 5-star amenities including an Olympic-sized pool, a rooftop lounge, spacious accommodations with river and museum views, a relaxing spa and a tempting patisserie. Guests are simultaneously immersed in the culture of Cairo and the lavishness of the hotel.

At reception, Mazen was incredibly helpful and patient — he handled everything with genuine professionalism and kindness, ensuring that the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. His calm and accommodating attitude truly set the tone for my stay. During my visit, i attended a wedding there and the waiter Aly Negm also stood out for his excellent service. He was attentive, swift, and focused, always anticipating what was needed without ever being intrusive. His attention to detail and warm manner made the dining experience exceptional.

The official response given to the review below complaining about the noise in the City View rooms is generic, has been given many times before and has changed absolutely nothing. However, when we made a complaint direct to the management concerning the (appalling) nighttime noise in our City View room they could not have been more helpful. They immediately arranged to move us to a suite on the Nile side from which we could hear nothing, except for a bit of traffic noise. Our family stay at the hotel was hugely enhanced by the friendliness, care and professionalism of all the staff. We felt valued and very well looked after. Special mention for the Club Lounge, complete with children’s playroom, the use of which really enhanced our stay. It was an excellent facility, calm when we were there, and well managed.

I arrived at the Nile Ritz-Carlton yesterday for a three night stay with my family. A double bed room with a Nile view which we had booked was not available. We were upgraded to a junior suite on the city side of the hotel. They did not warn us that every night there is very loud music at the hotel’s outside restaurant till well after 11pm. Not what I would expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Very disappointing. Be warned that there is this big problem on the City side of the hotel.

We just came back from our trip to Ireland and Egypt. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton on the Nile River and I am very impressed by the customer service we received. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Ahmed Hossam who made us feel like royalty. He even upgraded us to one of the biggest suites I have ever been in, that overlooked the city AND the Nile River for our honeymoon! It was better than I had hoped for. We ate at every restaurant in the hotel and they were all superb. We also went to a few of the night time shows (they have belly dancing and other acrobats) which was a lot of fun. Every staff member-from the security, bellhop, front desk/concierge, pool (amazing service!), and the housekeeping made you feel very welcome. We had thought about staying at the Four Seasons, but honestly, when we come back, we will be staying here again. One other thing that I really appreciated was the level of security. Every car that came in was checked-every driver had to show their licenses, they also checked the vehicles and noted which guests were leaving. We had ventured out to a restaurant at the Sofitel....it was night and day with the customer service. Some of the worst service I had ever experienced (we waited almost an hour for our food...saw every group that sat down get their orders asap...)-we were discriminated against. It truly made us appreciate our hotel even more. There are just so many staff members that I want to give a shout out to. Everyone made it such a special time. To ahmed Khalid, M.K. Yasser, Omar...to the entire team..thank you for the hospitality, customer service, we miss you guys already but we will be back!

We had the most awful checking experience with the Nike. Bit that has only gotten worse tonight. I feel like I’m in a cheap dance hall because the hotel has a wedding going on downstairs and the music is blaring non-stop. It’s now 12:43am. The hotel knew full well it was going to have this party and didn’t warn us or give us a room not facing this horrible cacophony. Two nights ago they were insisting on getting our work id to justify a rate and photograph it. Since we didn’t have it on us they bumped up our rate when we checked in close to midnight. Now this!! Sadly the standards and integrity of this hotel seem to be completely missing!!! What you will get here based on my opinion is the cheapest treatment and that’s it.
