Reviews for The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo

Loved this place and planning to return

I love this hotel ❤️ despite the muted noise at the back and the Cairo or Nile traffic at the front. I had the pleasure to live in both rooms at different times during my trip. The pool looked amazing though it was too chilly weather for me to use it. We had breakfast and dinner, we used the cigar bar and the Italian restaurant. Pleasure and joyful atmosphere. I wish to urgently suggest to management to provide more advertisement for the absolutely excellent hair dresser and nail bar on the 2nd floor. They are fantastic 🌈❤️🌈 The clothing boutiques for women are absolutely fantastic and we spent quite a bit of time and money 😅. My dry cleaning was not returned on time so I left without but didn’t mind too much. My suitcase was still within weight limits. I would certainly recommend this hotel as the bed was unbelievably comfortable and large xx and everything was just perfect.

Shoutout to concierge Majeed

Beautiful hotel with a view of the Nile. Good shops within the hotel. The Egyptian restaurant in the hotel has very good food. Located next to the old Grand museum, so very convenient. Rooms with double bed is very spacious. Special mention to Majeed the concierge who helped me book a tour to the Pyramids Thereafter Majeed secretly arranged with the tour guide to send some of photos of me at the Pyramids. When I got back at the hotel, Majeed had framed a photo of me in a Nile Ritz Carlton frame and handed it to me as a gift with a handwritten card. Such a pleasant surprise. I would go back to this hotel. Security is good and the guard made a record of me as a guest leaving with the tour guide. He took the tour guide's details. felt safe as a solo tourist.

Spectacular Hotel

The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo was truly exceptional, especially the service. After reserving, we had several questions which were always promptly and personally answered. Booking transport from the airport and several private tours was very easy, and the concierge was always eager to get our feedback. Restaurants on-site were absolutely wonderful, and each morning at the Culina breakfast was a great start to the day. We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite, and will never forget the Nile view from every room. Our visit to Cairo was memorable for many reasons, and the Ritz greatly enhanced the experience.

What a shame! 5 star. ha ha ha

Poor check in Bags took an hour to arrive in room and I had to call to get them Fridge empty No biscuits View dreadful in spit of my staying twice in one week. They keep their mile facing rooms for Egyptians Not 5 star Bad slow service in foyer atrium Many make and femail staff hanging around chatting without helping guests appropriately Do not feel valued here Try another hotel They have lost plot here Picture on wall crooked Not happy I think we have been treated as second class guests arriving today for a second stay in a week. There will never be a third. The shower is cold and not a power shower - very poor So many disappointments in first hour. A Edwards room on 12th floor facing rubbish not the Nile again
