Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis

Wow! I had the pleasure of staying at the Waldorf Astoria for 6 nights. The hotel, service, staff were exceptional. This has been by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, smiley, kind and went above and beyond for us. We were greeted by Omar after a hectic time at the airport and he immediately upgraded our room and gave us a late check out for our last day. Mohammed Ezzat the manager was very helpful and made the time to speak to us daily and we were able to contact him via WhatsApp for our needs. The Chef at breakfast Abir was so kind, she gave me cakes for my birthday, biscuits at Eid and was a generally jolly happy bubbly lady. Ayda was a brilliant waitress and also Menna. The food was exceptional quality and the choice was broad. Everything was delicious! The rooms were stocked with everything you could need and more. Location close to airport which is useful. The atmosphere of the hotel was incredible the lobby with the palm trees is breathtaking and the general interior design was beautiful. We went for dinner at other hotels such as mena house but nothing compared to the walforf. Would love to come back soon.

Good evening, I'm a repeater guest. I'm so happy to be staying at this hotel. I've stayed before and it was wonderful, and this time it was very good too. Everything was great: the room cleanliness, the bathroom cleanliness, everything was 100% professional. The front office front wsa excellent. My only note or concern this time was that the breakfast on the first day wasn't as good or varied as I'm used to. Thank you.

My favorite hotel in Cairo. Everything was fantastic from the moment I entered the hotel till check out. The rooms are so big, comfortable beds and well equipped with everything you would need. Special thanks to Mohamed Emara, Mohamed Ezzat and Omar!

A 5 star hotel that really lives up to its rating. The staff aim to anticipate your every need. A towel and water at the poolside from George, an extra cushion for the sofa, breakfast refills, house keeping providing slippers of the right size; you don’t need to ask it’s all thought about by staff. The food is amazing as is the restaurant’s staff. All credit to Andreas the general manager and his wonderful team. Not to mention the meet and greet concierge Mohammed arranged for us at the airport that had us sailing through without a hitch and the knowledgable guide called Saeed concierge arranged for us at the pyramids so we fast-tacked to the amazing sights. This hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility - when so many destinations are currently advised against. BA recommend this hotel to us and we’re grateful for that never having been to Cairo before. We preferred being away from the hustle and bustle - as exciting and wonderful as the centre is - this hotel is in the quiet Heliopolis region of Cairo. Security is very unobtrusive and a high standard.

It was a wonderful experience; I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff, especially Mr. Mohamed Ezzat, were very professional and able to handle any issue with expertise. It's one of the best hotels , very comfortable and definitely recommend
