Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis

From the moment we arrived at the Waldorf Astoria Egypt, the experience was absolutely flawless! Everything about the hotel is pure luxury — from the elegant atmosphere to the exceptional service. A very special thank you goes to Rana Ayman from the Sales team — she is simply perfect! 🌟 She was incredibly helpful, always cheerful, and full of positive energy. She went above and beyond to assist us with every request, making us feel truly valued and cared for. Rana, you are a gem and one of the reasons our stay was so memorable! The rest of the staff were also amazing — warm smiles, professional service, and genuine hospitality everywhere we went. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a five-star experience in Egypt!

Overcharged, Rude, and Given a Smoky Room at 3:40 AM I arrived in Egypt from New York City on August 13, 2025, at about 3:40 AM with my 15-year-old daughter for a confirmed Hilton Honors booking at $286. Both managers, Mohammed Hafez and Cherif, were not available or were in the back, and we had to wait about 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Instead of a welcome, we were met with rudeness and told the price would now be $466.50 for “one additional adult” despite no extra bed, no upgrade, no all-inclusive benefits, and the same exact room. The first room we were given was clearly the worst available — it wasn’t fresh and still smelled of smoke — and was only changed later, after the damage to our experience had been done. The hotel and facilities may appear nice and newly developed, but the service and hospitality spirit do not follow. In hindsight, booking directly with Hilton was a mistake, Booking.com or Amex Platinum Service would have found us another hotel at that hour.

Our conference room was well set up Facilities and sound and presentation equipment worked. Best of all was the staff who helped us especially Zina Hassan was exceptional took care of all requests. Bravo 👏

The staff are amazing — friendly, professional, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Ziena Hassan from the meeting area, who went above and beyond with her kindness and exceptional service. Truly outstanding!
