Fairmont Palliser

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Palliser and loved it. We stayed on the gold level and service was excellent. Our room was spotless and the staff even wrote notes to our kids from their stuffies. It was little touches like this all the trip and that made our experience outstanding. Neha in the lounge was spectacular and Vitaly the valet was amazing. The rest of the team was incredible too! The food in the lounge was delicious, especially the bread and the dinner at their main restaurant was outstanding. Highly recommend for a family stay!

Just visited Fairmont Palliser in Calgary and what can I say it was such a beautiful experience. I came to Calgary just for a day and decided to try the famous Hawthorn Dining Room & Bar at the hotel… and wow, what an experience it turned out to be. What impressed me the most was the service. The welcome experience was absolutely exceptional. I was greeted by a gorgeous girl named Olga, who not only found the perfect table for me, but also gave amazing food recommendations, shared insights about the hotel, and even created a full itinerary of what to see in the city since I had no idea what I could experience in Calgary. I honestly don’t know how she manages to do everything at once. I could see how hard she was working while also helping with the tables. I truly missed this kind of elevated luxury hospitality experience, and Olga created exactly that for me. I must say, the gnocchi were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. And the coffee… it’s so difficult to find a properly made quad-quality latte these days, but this one was incredible. Jessica B took care of the dining experience with such attention to detail, every recommendation and every touchpoint felt impeccable. A huge thank you to the Fairmont management team for hiring such beautiful and professional people who make guests feel special at every moment. I’m definitely coming back to Calgary, and Fairmont will absolutely be my number one choice 🤍

Neha Dhiraj stands out as their talented PM supervisor with exceptional skills in customer relations, and a highly personal touch to make every guests' experience a memorable one. Each time I have visited, Neha has worked to upgrade my room to a beautiful suite, without even asking! She is the reason I keep coming back. Neha has also treated me to special chocolates, exquisite wine, and historical mementos of this beautiful hotel! Each visit feels like a special occasion because Neha welcomes you into the Fairmont Palliser family. I would also like to thank many other staff who work hard to welcome their Fairmont Gold guests: Oksana, Cecelia, Denis, and housekeeping staff. I have continued to spread the word to friends and family, Fairmont Palliser Gold staff is top notch! Combined with being a beautiful hotel with exquisite amenities, I highly recommend the Fairmont Palliser Gold experience!

Overall, we had a positive experience at this Fairmont Hotels & Resorts property. Having stayed at many Fairmont locations previously, we had high expectations going into our visit. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. Service was generally good some staff members were exceptional, while others were satisfactory. The waiter at the restaurant stood out in particular, providing attentive service and making thoughtful accommodations for us, which we greatly appreciated. There were, however, a few areas for improvement. Our room was consistently quite cold, even with the heat turned up fully, which affected overall comfort. Additionally, the room felt smaller than expected, and we were not placed on a higher floor, which would have enhanced the experience. We also had breakfast in the lobby, where the espresso was unfortunately below standard. Upgrading the espresso machine could significantly improve the overall dining experience. While there were some shortcomings, we still enjoyed our stay and believe the property has strong potential with a few adjustments
