Hotel Le Germain Calgary

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Calgary Stampede. The hotel was just the job. Room was amazing two double beds, ensuite with a great shower. Household staff kept it clean everyday. We chose the continental breakfast which was delicious. On the first day of the stampede there was an incredible parade which started right outside the hotel and they had reserved bleaches which gave us a grandstand view. All the staff were amazingly helpful and kind. If you decide not eat in the restaurant there is plenty of choice just around the corner. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and modern hotel in a great location. Staff is super polite, friendly and helpful. The room was big and well decorated, with a walk-in closet. The only downside and the reason for 4 stars is the air conditioner that was extremely loud and it made hard to sleep. I would also suggest to add a garbage bin in the toilet area.

Friendly welcome from reception staff for our one night stay. We had a corner room on the 12th floor which was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large luxury bathroom. Loved the thick, fluffy bathrobes! Continental breakfast was included in our stay and this was good quality and plentiful.

Earlier today, when exiting the parking, I was asked to drive down a back alley. A needle carrying ultra-high drug addict came towards the now locked car and another homeless woman was commencing her pooping as I exited. Why do staff direct guests towards this disaster zone? It’s my fourth stay. Second problem with the hotel on homeless casual. Their attitude is all is good. Canada has a special tolerance of homelessness and open air drug use. Beware. Its unpleasant and tolerated at an unusual level

This hotel combines elegance and functionality perfectly. It is also located at the heart of the city. I will definitely go back. Thanks
