Hotel Le Germain Calgary

I am so pleased that I found this hotel. They did an amazing job setting up the spacious room I had. Everywhere I looked I saw careful planning that created a space that was attractive , useful but also relaxing . So I could do my business work but also sit down and really relax . Bathroom was large and again very well set up. It was very quiet , I was there for 2 nights and never heard any noise from other rooms at all. The people who run a hotel are important to the experience you have while there. And the experience I had staying here was entirely different from any where else I have stayed , and I travel a lot. It wasn’t one experience while I was there, it was the whole stay and all my dealings with the staff. It’s a special place. They have done it all so much better than anywhere else . Well done.

Stayed one night at the hotel, got upgraded to a bigger room (I think) close to the elevator. Room is very spacious and modern. The gym is bigger than I thought; sauna is a big plus. Location is unbeatable, within walking distance to many shopping and tourist attractions. Staff are friendly.

Erika and Sarah went above and beyond to make my stay very enjoyable. I also found the rest of the staff very pleasant. My room was very clean and quiet and I slept very soundly. My bed was very comfortable and the room was well organized. I loved the rainfall shower head. The location was perfect for me as I was able to walk to my business meeting, nearby shopping at the Core and enjoy dining on Stevens Avenue. It was a very enjoyable and comfortable experience.

If you want a change from the many big chain hotels located in downtown Calgary, Le Germain is a good choice with a smaller boutique type vibe about it. Very stylish lobby and bar with a very nice doorman to boot, we had a quick courteous check-in. Our room was comfortable with a view of the Calgary Tower across the road. Although dark brown decor is not my own style preference our room and bathroom were spacious and modern with good amenities. Unfortunately in the morning the Charcut restaurant was closed for breakfast (we were staying right after Christmas). We actually had trouble finding a restaurant that was open but this would not normally be the case as there are plenty in the area.

The hotel screams opulence from the moment you enter the lobby. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds ridiculously comfortable. It’s a great central location. With how expensive the rooms are I wish you didn’t have to pay for any type of add on, but the breakfast is really tasty, even if it hits the bank account
