Everything about this hotel was fantastic. From the pre-arrival communication to every single staff member we encountered to the room and comfy beds. Just stay here - can't get a better location!!

We recently stayed here. We enjoyed staying there so much. The rooms are decorated in a modern style. The bed is huge, and the bathroom was large with a tub and separate shower. The bathrooms are stocked with Ruby Brown products. The closet was large with plenty of storage. Finally, I found a hotel that one can store your luggage without having to step over it in the room. The rate included a continental breakfast, which was delicious. The staff was lively and very helpful. The bar in the lobby is a nice place to gather in the evenings. It is centrally located, and the area felt safe. It was clean and was easy walking distance to popular areas and shopping. Folks mention low lighting in the rooms, but we were not bothered by that. As long as your key card is inserted in the slot by the entry door, the lights work well and stay on while in the room. The views are of the lovely downtown, and at night, it is just lovely to sit and watch. My only complaint is that the fridge is stuffed to the max, and when you open it, bottles are literally rolling out. There is a great selection of teas and coffees. The staff supply ice in the afternoon, and I don't think there is an ice maker for self-service. The staff are exceptional, friendly, and go above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Calgary.

We had booked a holiday to the Canadian Rockies and was spending two nights in Calgary. We were booked into Le Germain Hotel. It was our first time in Canada and at the hotel. The location was superb, in the heart of Calgary city opposite Calgary Tower. We had a lovely room with lots of nice touches. The hotel team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The hotel had its own distinctive style and flavour, although part of a prestigious independent hotel group that is Canadian owned. We will certainly return when we next visit Calgary.

nicely appointed & very nice personnel. BUT - lighting system in the room sucks - you need an instruction manual to know how to turn on/off selected lights. Lighting in the bathroom was particularly weak. Room had a paucity of drawer space, & little to no thought was given as to the room layout. It is beyond logic how such a run-of-the-mill hotel can get high ratings. Rating inflation gone rampant.

If i just say fabulous i will be saying less. This hotel is modern, and takes pride in maintaining a spic and span spotlessly clean environment. In this day and age where customer service is lost each and everyone of their employees excel in it. From their front office manager Armine who understood my needs, to Brahim who spent an extensive amount of time helping us connect our device to their TV (thankful to their maintenance staff who assisted too whose name i do not have, to Chad who checked us in efficiently and Brahim Bazza who checked us out patiently and efficiently to the housekeeping manager Glenda who understood all my needs and had them executed personally to Lilia the room attendant who ensured our room was well equipped and spic and span. It almost feels like where do I begin hoping i do not leave out anyone. Even the door attendant was so polite wish i had his name. I am almost wondering how does this hotel train their staff so well. The bathroom was huge and the shower too and the pot had a divider. The vents were so clean and i had no allergies. The carpet was so clean. This is the place to stay
