Amazing getaway

We had an amazing time at the Solage - it was heavenly! We barely left the property over the course of our long weekend. The restaurants on-site were delicious and everyone was very friendly. Would highly recommend - we hope to be back!

Perfect Wedding Weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

My wife and I were just married at Solage last week. Everything was perfect and on point. The staff makes you feel at home ina setting that is relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Food And Beverage team catered to us in the most magnificent way. They seem to anticipate our needs before we knew. This is an amazing place for a weekend or a special moment with family and friends like our wedding.

If you're thinking about booking Solage, do it NOW! The pictures on the site do not do it enough justice. Phenomenal service, food, and amenities. A shuttle that will transport you to and from a destination within 5-10 minutes. A very clean, safe, and quiet place, including an area for adults only (magnesium pools, eucalyptus sauna, cold plunge, etc.) Many wineries within a five-minute drive. Although there are restaurants within a five-minute drive, the food at Solage was worthy of staying in. There was a group of 4 of us celebrating a 50th birthday, and we all couldn't say enough about this place.

This Is How Luxury Hotels Should Treat Autistic Travelers

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Wow, oh wow — what an incredible stay at Solage in Calistoga. Before we even arrived, Ashley King from the concierge team reached out and truly set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. She went above and beyond helping us plan family-friendly dining, wineries, and activities, but what really stood out was the care she took in understanding our trip. We were celebrating my son’s 7th birthday, and he has autism, and Ashley thoughtfully asked about his interests and preferences. When we arrived, we were blown away. Waiting in the room was a giant Daniel Tiger plushie, along with coloring pages and toy cars — all based on what I had shared with her. My son was absolutely overjoyed. It was such a meaningful and personal touch that immediately made him feel comfortable and excited. Both of my kids loved the room. My 11-year-old daughter especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio, drawing, and taking in the beautiful natural surroundings. Even though it was unseasonably warm during our stay, the thoughtful touches — like cold jugs of water waiting in the fridge — made a huge difference. The complimentary wine was also a lovely bonus. Dining at Solbar was another highlight. The food was phenomenal, and our waitress (I wish I remembered her name — she wore glasses) was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating with our son. The experience didn’t stop there — the food and beverage manager came out to introduce himself and surprised my son with a race car, which absolutely made his night (and yes, it made it safely home and is now a favorite!). We spent nine days traveling through Northern California and stayed at several beautiful, high-end resorts — but Solage was, without question, our favorite. As someone who has worked in luxury hospitality for over 15 years, including at Ritz-Carlton, Eau Palm Beach, and InterContinental Hotels, I do not say this lightly — I have never experienced this level of thoughtful, personalized care, especially when traveling with a neurodivergent child. What Solage delivered went far beyond service; it was intuitive, empathetic, and truly exceptional. Other luxury hotels — take note: this is how you welcome and care for autistic travelers and their families. Solage didn’t just meet expectations, they redefined them. I will be recommending Solage to anyone who will listen!
