Down on the shore, the Beach Club, with its dining area and second swimming pool, overlooks a private sandy beach, lapped by the coral-rich waters of a marine reserve.

Impressive views are a feature of all Amanoi's accommodation, which captures vistas of Nui Chua National Park, the property's lake, Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea. The freestanding Pavilions offer a combined living and sleeping area and a timber sundeck with sun loungers; Pool Villas also feature a private pool of up to 36 square meters. The Residences each consist of one to five freestanding bedroom pavilions, living and dining pavilions, and a large private swimming pool. Reviews for Amanoi

A beautiful and peaceful stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Amanoi is such a special place. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature with amazing views of the sea, and the whole resort feels very peaceful and private. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and I’d especially like to mention GM Joy. He was very warm and welcoming, and his attention to the guests really made a difference. The team was attentive without being over the top, which made everything feel very natural. The villa was beautiful, the food was great, and I loved how quiet and relaxing the whole experience was. Definitely a place I’d be happy to come back to.

Pure magic. Breathtaking scenery, immaculate villas, and transcendent service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Amanoi is pure magic, and stepping onto the property was an overwhelming emotional experience. The breathtaking natural scenery and the sheer beauty of our mountain pool pavilion left us genuinely moved to tears. From the moment we landed, service was effortless. We were met directly off the plane by a representative with an Amanoi sign, followed by a scenic drive where our chauffeur drove with total elegance, flashing headlights instead of honking and gently slowing down for photos. Upon entering the resort gates, we were whisked to the lobby and welcomed on the grand staircase by Putu and Team, where we also met GM Joy. Guided to our villa by Team (visiting from Amanpuri), the space was outstanding, offering total privacy, lush parkland, and peaceful nature sounds. Housekeeping attention was immaculate! Fresh flowers in the villa tightly budded on arrival bloomed into full beauty over our five-night stay. In true Aman fashion, the room was serviced every time we stepped outside. Charging cables were neatly bound in custom leather organizers, ice was constantly refreshed, mosquito coils were set each evening, and protective mats were delicately placed beneath our toiletries during turndown. We felt truly pampered by daily turndown gifts and a surprise bath filled with fresh roses. Communication via WhatsApp was instantaneous for arranging tours or buggies. Across the property, we deeply appreciated the subtle touches defining Amanoi's service culture, staff lowering themselves to eye level when speaking, stepping discreetly off pathways to let us pass, knowing our names, and providing small dedicated tables for handbags. At the Beach Club, Hai and Louis anticipated our every need with ice water, sunscreen, sunglass cleaner, and discreet ashtrays. At the Cliff Pool, attendants served ginger-mango drinks, fresh fruit, and eye wipes while preparing loungers. The Beach Club restaurant featured Kay, who gave us a fascinating explanation of local fish sauce making, and archery was fantastic. Excursions were absolute highlights. Our 6 AM salt farm excursion with Loan was unforgettable, complete with a buggy waiting outside our door and morning coffee beforehand. The following day, we booked a cultural and street food tour with Ngọc (I hope the spelling is correct), visiting authentic local spots far off the tourist path. Even while eating humble street food, we were treated to delicious dishes accompanied by cold towels and Amanoi-branded water at every stop, a hilarious touch of luxury that shared plenty of laughs. Dining and breakfast were equally remarkable, backed by a warm, joyful team including Nhi, Duong, Phuong, Linh, Lam, Quinnie, and many others. Minor flaws were microscopic blips during an otherwise transcendent stay. When turndown service hadn't been done one evening after dinner, the team caught the oversight on their own before we said a word, proactively reaching out on WhatsApp to handle it immediately. Similarly, a brief lobby wait before our tour due to a timing miscommunication was met with such profuse, heartfelt sincerity from Duc and Putu that it only demonstrated their commitment to excellence. Checkout was frictionless, complete with personalized leather luggage tags attached to our suitcases. A very special thank you goes to Putu, the Guest Relations Manager originally from Bali. From checking us in on the grand staircase to greeting us with her warm smile during daily tea time and dinner, she was exceptionally courteous, kind, and easy to talk to. Her genuine laughter, conversation, and heartfelt warmth made our stay at Amanoi truly unforgettable.

Disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The level of service at this property was noticeably different from what we have experienced at other Aman resorts. If you are seeking the same warmth, attention to detail, and sense of hospitality that Aman is known for elsewhere, this property may not fully meet those expectations.

Amazing, again

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

I’ve just returned from one week at the Amanoi, my third trip in as many years.  I’m greatly appreciative to have found this amazing, healing place and for everything that goes into making it so. Before my visit ended, local management asked me if there was anything that I’d like to callout to improve or enhance.  Well, quite simply, there is not.  You see, if I was to do so, then in even in some very small way I would be communicating dissatisfaction and that would be utterly wrong.  For me there is NOTHING dissatisfying about the Amanoi experience. I began traveling around the world in 1990, guided only by lonely planet's “Southeast Asia on a Shoestring” by Tony Wheeler.  Thirty-six years later, I’ve graduated from those backpacking beginnings to the magnificence of the Amanoi.   I think that my travel journey is one reason why I appreciate every aspect of the Amanoi so very, very much.  Every one of the incredible staff, from senior management to waitstaff, groundskeepers and maintenance employees, who without exception mark every guest interaction with a kind smile and a hearty "Xin chào”. The landscape, the architecture, the interior design, the food, the activities and most importantly, the staff, come together in the most special of ways.   I’m deeply grateful to the Amanoi community and will always relish my next visit to this Shangri-La.

Creating A New Level

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

A five night stay in an ocean pool villa proved pure magic, exceeding all reasonable expectations. As Aman veterans also working our way through The World’s 50 Best Hotels, we have found nothing yet that delivers on this level. Amanoi has given us memories that are certain to last a lifetime. Two aspects of our stay demand highlighting: (1) Gender equality. Women occupy positions of responsibility at Amanoi. Importantly, my spouse was always treated as my equal. Too often in the luxury market my partner feels relegated to the sideline. Not so here! (2) The spa. It’s magical! We are not spa people — often I fall asleep during a massage half out of boredom. Here, though, we felt as though our hot stone treatment was an ancient ritual we were lucky to take part in. The spa here is truly exceptional, freeing mind and body in way that allowed us to soak in fully the Amanoi experience. The expectation at any Aman is that it will deliver on service. Amanoi excels even against this bar. Normally in a review I like to point out staff that went the extra mile (Tristan? Loann?). I think though this is the approach here. *Everyone* at Amanoi came across as genuine, willing to share, and fully capable to seeing to whatever your wishes may be. Nevertheless, there were two notable fumbles. We are strict vegetarians and made so abundantly clear in advance communications. Yet, we were set up to fish, and invited to do so on the catamaran experience. Similarly, we were walked through the meat and seafood portion of the market on the lost kingdom of Cham experience, despite an explicit request that we not do so just prior. Still, the food was excellent and the variation sufficient for a vegetarian to stay at least five nights. For those of you looking to book a beach vacation, you may well have the wrong spot. Winds have the potential to kick up and the temperature does not rise to level of the world’s best spots, at least in February. Expect instead a culture bomb of Vietnamese life, art and food paired with perfection of room and view.
