I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Right from the start, the service we received was exceptional. As I walked in through the front door, the first person I saw was Toby, the concierge, who clearly explained about the car parking and walked down to the car park entrance to personally guide me. Every subsequent interaction I had with members of staff was at the same level of thoughtfulness and professionalism. I really liked the hotel; even the colour scheme was just the right balance between calming and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a lovely view over the wide green space of Parker's Piece. I would definitely like to return.

Amazing hotel. Exceptional service from the moment you arrive, the hotel team make your stay effortless. We stayed in a suite which was beautiful. Cannot fault this hotel. Would highly recommend the best place to stay in Cambridge. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good.

My husband and I recently relocated to Cambridge, UK and chose University Arms Hotel, Autograph Collection for a long-term stay while searching for our new home. What was intended to be a practical arrangement of just over 30 days quickly became an experience we will genuinely cherish. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome- more like residents than guests. The hotel’s location is truly ideal, perfectly positioned between the train station and the vibrant heart of Cambridge, with its wonderful selection of restaurants, shops, and historic pubs just a short stroll away. My husband is a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium Elite member, with over 1,550 nights stayed across more than two decades. As you can imagine, he has experienced some of the finest hotels around the world and can be quite discerning. It speaks volumes, therefore, that our stay here exceeded all expectations. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional team. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The Toby and Charles, concierge team, were simply outstanding. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and willingness to go above and beyond were invaluable, particularly as we navigated the challenges of relocating. In fact, Toby’s insight and assistance were so helpful that he could easily rival a professional letting agent! The front desk team consistently delivered a level of service that was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every interaction was handled with efficiency and kindness, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. While I hesitate to name individuals for fear of leaving someone out, please know that every member of the team contributed to making our stay so memorable. Behind the scenes, the office team deserves special recognition as well. Their efforts often go unnoticed, yet they played a vital role in ensuring everything went seamlessly. A particular thank you to Maggie, whose responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed and was deeply appreciated. The housekeeping team also deserves special praise. Maintaining such a high standard over an extended stay is no small feat, yet they did so effortlessly, keeping our room impeccably clean, thoughtfully refreshed, and consistently well provisioned. Their attention to detail and quiet dedication made a meaningful difference to our day-to-day comfort. Lastly, the restaurant and bar staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality made every visit a pleasure. Whether it was a relaxed breakfast or an evening drink, we always felt welcomed and exceptionally well looked after. In summary, our extended stay at the University Arms was nothing short of outstanding. It is rare to find a hotel that combines such an ideal location with truly heartfelt service, but this property does so effortlessly. We would not hesitate to recommend it, whether for a short visit or a longer stay. We very much hope to return in the future.
