Great experience for college drop off
I was very pleased with our stay at the Charles for drop off at Harvard. The hotel was very ready for all of the parents and chaos and handled it all well. From sending packages ahead, to needing a room with a rollaway but booking one that it didn’t fit, to the lovely breakfast in Henrietta’s, we had cocktails in the downstairs bar and I have no complaints. Service was great. Room was clean and comfortable, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the proximity to campus during move in, and the hotel had cute themed welcome to Harvard cookies and things. It was all very nicely done. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Best Experience in Cambridge
Excellent hotel adjacent to Harvard, MIT and Lesley. Staff was very attentive and welcoming to the families moving to campus. Breakfast was always amazing with homemade bread. The spread on the welcome table for the kids, was heavenly.

Great location & beautiful hotel. Fellow suite with 2 beds was spacious. We used the dinette for in room dining. Best BLT sandwich I've ever had.

Comfortable and Convenient Respite In Harvard Square
The Charles Hotel is always a very classy and comfortable option when staying in the Boston/ Cambridge area. It's a very convenient homebase when you have several destinations that you want to reach. During this trip, which was a quick 3 day visit, we ventured out to Boston Seaport and Copley very conveniently via Lyft. You can also get around via the T, but we opted to take a more scenic drive through the city. Being in the heart of Harvard Square, the Charles Hotel has so many amenities for dining and shopping. Henrietta's Table is also a tried and true dining destination with the hotel that we enjoy.
