Royal Palm Plaza Resort Campinas

My family and I have spent 4 past Christmas weeks at Royal Palm Plaza (and had another trip in November before that). We keep coming back, and will keep coming back, because of the comfort, quality and ease of relaxation that the Royal Palm Plaza offers. The food is amazing, both quality and variety. The drinks are great and reasonably priced (for example, about $6 USD for a pool-side mixed drink with tax and tip included). There are ample facilities (many great pools, jacuzzi, gym, volleyball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, etc..) to keep an active people entertained. There is live music almost every night (at least during the Christmas week). The Christmas party is truly epic every year -- held inside a massive hall, with several live music concerts, free flowing wine and absolutely decadent food tables! On Christmas Day, there is a gospel band concert poolside and the balloon releasing ceremony. Perfect vacation!

A big resort in Campinas. But surprised it's luxury as the rooms are tired and nothing special. In fact our back door could not even be locked! The food is all ok and buffet style . Nice pool and small gym

The price is incredibly high and for that you got an old room, with stincking bathroom, a too soft bed and the noise of the highway. The food, that used to be good, it was, to be kind, average. Went for a convention but not going to comit same mistake again. Never more.

I attended a commercial convention at the Hotel, where I stayed for one day. The hotel has serious internet problems in the convention areas, also the access they provide for people who are attending conventions is free for 30 minutes only. They do this and want to extort people by selling internet access at a price of gold. Therefore, if you need to use internet access when at a convention, you will have serious problems with Royal Palm Plaza. Too expensive for what it offers.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The grounds and pools were beautiful. The service was great. The food was average. The room was lacking unfortunately. We stayed in one of the regular rooms with a king bed. The mattress was hard and not comfortable. The room was decent sized but the bathroom was SO tiny. You could barely open the door without hitting the toilet. Definitely not room for 2 in there. The rooms are in need of some repairs/updating (paint scratched in some areas and peeling in bathroom, chipped tile, moldy grout in shower and bathroom door water damaged (wood cracked/chipped, paint peeling).
