Extremely upset with this resort for making my actual home feel incredibly boring!
This hotel is my go-to in the Finger Lakes. My one problem with it is not having enough time to fit in all the free inclusions that come with the stay. I was there 2 nights and wanted to see how much I could pack in and I must say, I think I hacked the best itinerary. Morning yoga, followed by the garden tour, matcha on the patio overlooking the lake, bike ride along the lake shore, lunch on the water at Sand Bar, crosswords at the pool (plus mandatory hot tub), walk on the boardwalk (think this was just redone?), and cocktail on the lakefront adironaks (also think these are brand new?). I opted for room service over Rose Tavern for dinner as I was beat after so much time in the sun, which was preferred over getting out and about. But, for me, this was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation; although, I might swap the bike ride for a winery tour next time as I've heard great things about Ravines. I tried their pinot in the restaurant and I was shocked by how good it was (as that area is known for rieslings and cab francs). Also, I saw they start live music and movies at the pool this weekend for summer, so, bummed I missed that, but for all that I saw and did, I feel like I made the most of this trip - which I desperately needed. Pro tip - don't miss the free champagne at check in. Thank you, Lake House. I cannot wait to return, and thank you again for always remembering me and being so welcoming, it means more to me than you know. Until next time.

Amazing dinner and drinks at Rose Tavern
We needed a one night getaway and went for dinner to the Rose Tavern. The food was incredible - and the service was even better. Our server KP was friendly, attentive, informative and a delight. We were blown away by the table side Old Fashioned that Mikey P made for us. We really enjoyed chatting with him too, and even listened to his band on Spotify on the drive home!
