Wonderful property, wonderful stay!
We made our reservation with The Lake House because it looked nice, and the pet-friendly policies - we were traveling with our two year old pup. We left feeling sad... because a) the weather didn't let us enjoy the grounds of the property so much, and b) because The Lake House is far enough away from our home in NYC that we won't be able to enjoy it more often. Our stay was fabulous, and largely due to the staff that were unfailing cheerful and helpful.

Late Lunch and Drinks at the Bar
Mikey P at The Lake House in Canandaigua was incredible. He went out of his way to explore options with me that weren’t even on the menu and ended up crafting two amazing drinks that were exactly what I was looking for. His knowledge, creativity, and genuine excitement made the whole experience feel elevated. On top of that, his customer service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and just really welcoming. Definitely ask for Mikey P if you’re there, he knows how to take care of his guests.

Fun girls weekend
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly; the rooms were spotless, and the service was top notch. We loved hanging out in the library, and had a lot of fun playing DJ Trivia in The Sand Bar. We were also impressed with the attention to detail and got a kick out of the floor mat in the elevator that had changing messages depending on the time of day. You won’t be disappointed coming here for a relaxing weekend. The lake view was beautiful and we had a very memorable time.
