The second largest of Spainâ€(TM)s Canary Islands, off the northwest coast of Africa, Fuerteventura is an off-the-beaten path destination. This magnificently rugged retreat is home to the Fuerteventura Golf Resort, anchored by Elba Palace Golf & Vital Hotel. This stately mansion built around charming tree-lined courtyards reflects the surrounding landscape with its use of wood, stone and terracotta. Indulging is unavoidable, whether youâ€(TM)re lingering on your private balcony or savoring Canarian-influenced cuisine at Saint Andrews, one of the islandâ€(TM)s finest restaurants.

Booked a last minute visit to this hotel and stayed on half board basis for a week at the end of May. The hotel is on a golf course and set back from the main resort, we don't play golf so this review is for the hotel only. We had a room overlooking the pool on the second floor and it was decorated in a traditional style which we liked. There was 2 bottles of water in the room for use and a payable mini bar. Very comfortable large bed, good air conditioning and a well appointed bathroom with bath and shower. Rooms were spotless and kept very clean during our stay. The whole hotel was well maintained and very clean. The pool area was wonderfully quiet which suited us, never an issue to get a sunbed no matter what time of the day. Breakfast had large selection on offer, you could have omelettes freshly cooked or there was the usual sausage, egg, porridge etc along with various breads, cereals and fruit. Evening meal was from a menu and all the food we had over the week was of a high quality. The staff are the best thing about this hotel, all very attentive and polite and the lifeguard at the pool was always assisting with any loungers that needed moved or on one occasion helping an elderly guest in and out the pool. Excellent hotel, will return.

We’ve just returned from another amazing holiday in Fuerteventura. With so many hotels to choose from, we still can’t bring ourselves to stay anywhere else. This was our third visit, and each time we’ve been treated so well - every stay seems to get even better. The hotel mainly attracts a mature clientele, making it perfect for adults and couples looking for peace and tranquility. It’s quiet, relaxing and there are always plenty of sunbeds available, so there’s never any stress finding a spot by the pool no matter what time of day. The food quality has improved greatly since our first visit three years ago and the staff are always friendly, helpful and approachable. A special mention to management, Mercedes and Pilar who do a wonderful job ensuring everything runs smoothly and that guests’ needs are always met.

A Truly Exceptional Hotel – Our Home in Fuerteventura. Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel is full of class, sophistication and complete tranquillity. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and reset. The hotel is beautifully maintained, wonderfully quiet, and set in a stunning location on the Fuerteventura Golf Course. The food at St. Andrews Restaurant is consistently excellent, with highlights such as perfectly grilled garlic prawns, delicious sea bass and melt‑in‑your‑mouth salmon. Hole 19 is also a lovely spot for lunch or drinks, offering a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views overlooking the golf course. Facilities are first‑class, including a padel tennis court, a beautiful swimming pool, and immaculate gardens. The walk into town is a pleasant 20 minutes. What truly makes this hotel special is the outstanding team. Mercedes, glamorous and meticulous, brings elegance and exceptional attention to detail. Pilar, practically perfect in every way, radiates kindness and warmth. She will always be the Queen of the Palace. Ali, who oversees the restaurants, is very personable and kind, combining charm with efficiency. Mulud, a real gentleman, creates the most exquisite champagne cocktails. And the wider team— Angel, Tanya, Lara, Teresa, Nuria, Jareli, Andrea, Little Ali, the talented chefs, and the dedicated housekeeping team led by Miriam—all contribute to the hotel’s welcoming, family‑like atmosphere. At reception, Aneta, Valentina, Lola and Jesus ensure every arrival and departure is effortless. We have been visiting for over 10 years and have stayed more than 30 times. Each visit reminds us why we keep returning. If you are looking for relaxation, calmness and a true wellbeing reboot, Elba Palace is simply the best there is. Congratulations to the entire team – you are extraordinary, and you make this hotel truly unforgettable.

Visited here many times and it still doesn’t disappoint. Still maintains its charm. The staff are excellent and professional, they all work so hard. Room cleaned to an excellent standard. Yes one morning no hot water next morning no water but got resolved very quickly. The pool is cold but once you’re in it’s refreshing. We enjoyed the meals. A wide choice at breakfast and evening meal. Men bring trousers for evening meal, smart/casual. The area around the pool is relaxing and no fight for sun beds. Short walk 20 mins to Beach and Atlantico shopping area with a Euro Spar where you can get anything you need. A taxi is around 4 €. There is an Elba bus that is free that runs from all the Elba hotels but times are limited. Enjoyed the golf and driving range. It’s quiet in the evening, some entertainment. But people seem to retire to their rooms early, so don’t expect a lively night. We will be returning.
