Lovely hotel but food lets it down
Hotel was lovely, restaurant for dinner was very mediocre and the quality of food was not very good, we had to sedn back meals on three occasions as either cold or poor quality.

Top hotel for golfing couples or groups - highly recommended
Wonderful traditional hotel attached to a resort type golf course. Location is very handy, only 15 minutes taxi from the airport (make sure you book a taxi if coming on a Sunday, they are few and far between and many won't take two sets of golf clubs!). The reception ladies were so friendly and helpful. They told us we'd been allocated the best room and they were definitely correct there - thank you ladies. Our room was huge, with a nice lounge area and sun terrace. Bathroom was also large with separate bath and shower. All of it was spotlessly clean. Food was of a high standard, with a fantastic buffet for starters and deserts, a la carte for the mains. Excellent options between fish, meat and vegetarian mains at all times. All the staff serving us were similarly friendly and cheery in the restaurants. There's a gym, which I think I was the only person using all week - nice! It's basic, but has decent running machine, step machine and dumbbells. Could do with a decent bench though. We didn't use the spa, so can't comment on that. I used the sauna, which you have to book as it's not communal. Not sure why you need to book, it would get more use if it was open to all freely. Lots of returning guests says a lot about the hotel. Whilst we weren't blessed with nice weather during our stay, we would definitely consider a return at some point.

Remember how hotels used to be
Relatively small but well appointed. Where guests are valued and nothing is too much trouble. Where staff are wanting to help and anticipate your needs. Where the food is based on local specialities rather than ‘international cuisine’. Where any minor problem is dealt with by the management quickly and efficiently. All in a building that is both elegant and comfortable. And if you happen to play golf forget about queuing for shuttle buses the well maintained course and superb practice facilities are quite literally on your door step. My wife and I have visited twice in 3 years for the perfect escape to some early spring sunshine.

So relaxing
What a lovely hotel the staff are super friendly and helpful especially Aneta and Pilar @ reception. Love the tranquility around the swimming pool and the atmosphere in the bars and restaurants too

Excellent hotel
The hotel is very smart and the rooms are very comfortable. All the staff are friendly and attentive. The pro shop is well equipped and the golf course is very playable for all levers of players. I highly recommend any visitors who want to stay in Fuertaventura to consider this hotel. We have stayed here on two occasions and have enjoyed our stay immensely.
