The second largest of Spain(TM)s Canary Islands, off the northwest coast of Africa, Fuerteventura is an off-the-beaten path destination. This magnificently rugged retreat is home to the Fuerteventura Golf Resort, anchored by Elba Palace Golf & Vital Hotel. This stately mansion built around charming tree-lined courtyards reflects the surrounding landscape with its use of wood, stone and terracotta. Indulging is unavoidable, whether you(TM)re lingering on your private balcony or savoring Canarian-influenced cuisine at Saint Andrews, one of the island(TM)s finest restaurants.

Visited here many times and it still doesn’t disappoint. Still maintains its charm. The staff are excellent and professional, they all work so hard. Room cleaned to an excellent standard. Yes one morning no hot water next morning no water but got resolved very quickly. The pool is cold but once you’re in it’s refreshing. We enjoyed the meals. A wide choice at breakfast and evening meal. Men bring trousers for evening meal, smart/casual. The area around the pool is relaxing and no fight for sun beds. Short walk 20 mins to Beach and Atlantico shopping area with a Euro Spar where you can get anything you need. A taxi is around 4 €. There is an Elba bus that is free that runs from all the Elba hotels but times are limited. Enjoyed the golf and driving range. It’s quiet in the evening, some entertainment. But people seem to retire to their rooms early, so don’t expect a lively night. We will be returning.

Hotel is not as nice as 2 years ago need TLC and dress code needs to be sorted re evening dinner my husband wore a nice linen shirt and knee length chino shorts which was not acceptable but 3 quarter length shorts/trousers are ?? And women wearing shorts and shorts dresses are ?? To me these are not acceptable but if its no shorts then no shorts for women and men and only long trousers for men !!!

A lovely hotel with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel of this calibre. Rooms are large enough and kept spotlessly clean. We booked a week long golf package which included 5 rounds. The course is really nice but is sadly let down by the bunkers which contained hard, gritty sand. Apart from that, overall, an enjoyable experience.

The golfing experience was good but the hotel was below expectations, some staff were quite “direct”- Youssef on the bar was great- it’s trying to be something it’s not ie a bit pretentious, a more relaxed vibe would have been good, female waitress and reception uniform- what was all that about? Hotel tired, air con didn’t work through whole stay, no water in the morning on two of our days there and it lacks atmosphere because maybe occupancy was very low. We felt sorry for the evening entertainers

Human factor and service is great!! Than is golf also great the course is very well maintained!! But hotel lucks of quality they use to have! For the whole stay the air conditioning was not working at all!! Than came the Kalima the hot air from Africa it was boiling!! Hotel swimming pool the water was basically freezing !!! The heating system for pool was not working!!!! Food quality dropped drastically at least to compare to previous visits!!!
