Reviews for Melia Salinas

Excellent experience!

We are a group of 4 friends who stayed at the beautiful adult-only Melia Selinas Paradisus in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote in two Premium twins with Ocean Front View (rooms 209 and 211) from 6th to 13th October. From our wonderful welcome at Reception (Elias) and WiFi help (Mark), the incredible staff continued to make our stay memorable. Anica was the perfect host who greeted and chatted with us daily. We dined in all the restaurants and found the food and service to be of excellent quality (the seafood night in Malva was amazing). We particularly enjoyed La Graciosa for lunch with Marisel being such a warm and friendly server. Drinks/cocktails too were excellent and Naomi and Marcos (in the Shack) made the best Pina Coladas. We all felt the complimentary day and evening entertainment was varied and very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the Letiz glass experience, followed by the art-therapy and art bookmark (brilliantly run by Soraya and the team who affectionately named us Team Manola). This truly offered a very personal experience with handwritten notes delivered to our rooms - a lovely gesture! We also did the Cesar Manrique hotel tour, cheese and wine experience as well as the jam and wine experience. There really is something for everyone: Yoga, Standup Paddleboard Pilates, Aquagym, Beach Volleyball and so much more. The hotel has a really well-equipped gym and the lovely girls in the Spa gave us a personal tour (I will definitely book a treatment when I return in January). Housekeeping are marvellous and our gorgeous rooms were kept spotlessly clean with an evening turndown service and a minibar stocked daily. Overall an excellent experience and we loved it! One small area for improvement is the Beach Bar, such a shame it is no longer part of the all-inclusive experience. The noise level in the evening detracted from our enjoyment in La Graciosa as our reservation was 7.30pm and the loud music continued till 8.30pm. The hotel is stunning but the people/staff are outstanding and are a credit to the hotel and hospitality industry showing how excellent service can be provided. My husband and I have stayed at the hotel previously and so this was a second visit based on my recommendation. We are already looking forward to our return in January 2026. The hotel is brilliantly located close to a small, sandy beach (Playa de Los Charcos), amenities and bus stop with plenty of local buses. The bus stop was also very convenient for our prebooked transfer to Teguise Market on the Sunday morning with “First Minute Travel”. It's also just a short stroll to Playa de las Cucharas for another wonderful beach, a variety of watersports, restaurants, shops and bars.

Lovely break , some small areas for improvement

Second time at this hotel and had a lovely relaxing time once again. Really enjoyed the yoga, Pilates and meditation on the beach front, perfect environment to relax and unwind! Really nice wine and strawberry daqs as well. The location is excellent just off the coastal path. A couple of areas of feedback: -last time I visited the beach bar was included in the all inclusive for hotel guests, I'm unclear why it isn't now and it's a real shame as only went there once vs lots last time -the spa is lovely but isn't well advertise, it's not on the maps of the hotel, it's a great asset so be great to promote it more -last time I stayed there were recyclable cans and cartons of water, this time there was single use plastic bottles instead, I must have gone through about 30 of these which feels poor for sustainability, there must be better alternatives All in all great stay

Beautiful hotel and so serene. HOWEVER. The pool bar has a secret. Jonatan. Cocktail supremo. Passionate and oh so capable. 20+ years leaning and it shows. Amaretto Sour. Devine. More research required by me!

The location of the hotel is very convenient; close to the airport and local shops. The reserve junior suite room is probably one of the best we’ve ever had! The atmosphere and staff are really great. Special mentions to the reserve pool staff, Hanza and the 4pm cocktails, Carolina and Jonathan. This was our second stay in 6 months; we will definitely be back. Thank you

Perfect Luxury - a relaxing and highly enjoyable experience

Luxurious Reserve stay: From our welcome at reception to the end of our trip, concierge Paula DC was outstanding. Our suite was roomy and very comfortable, all housekeeping services were excellent. Reserve breakfast and meals at Samira, Capella and Canarian La Graciosa were superb, good to have them included in Reserve offer so no thoughts of costs to spoil our relaxation. Ginger bar was also excellent; sometimes a little light on staff during the day, but table drinks service in the evenings was great. Reserve pool lunch meals and cocktails were great. Main Malva restaurant food was good, but in our opinion the other restaurants were worth the extra cost of Reserve. Pleasantly surprised that all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic were branded, and served generously. Try the Barraquito coffees but be prepared to diet on your return! Trips, hotel activities and evening entertainment were super: particular highlights were the evening candlelit piano/singer and guided meditation sessions under palm trees on the beach with Martha. Left feeling we had enjoyed something of the Canary Island in real luxury whilst living in an actual work of art - the architecture and gardens of the hotel are a feature in themselves.
