Dreams Sands Cancun

We just return home from our stay at Dreams Sand Cancun over the Labour Day long weekend. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is very good, well maintained, and comfortable. The beach is absolutely amazing and we spent hours enjoying the beautiful water. Most of all, the staff made our trip special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive. We want to say thank you to Chef Jesus, Raul, Ricardo, Jorge, Mauritio, Argentina who provided exceptional service and made our family feel so welcome during our holiday. Thank you again to the entire team for such a relaxing and memorable vacation.

From the moment we arrived, Explorers Kids Club gave my son a safe and welcoming place to enjoy his own vacation. As a parent who is admittedly nervous about leaving my child anywhere—even in the States—I felt completely at ease here. Flor, Sharon, Cynthia, and Mariel were wonderful, along with Angie from Entertainment and the rest of the team. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. The staff was very thoughtful about keeping the children safe, engaged, and included. They were aware of my son’s allergies and went out of their way to find dairy-free snacks for him so he never felt left out 🥹. That meant a lot to me and showed how much care they put into what they do. The biggest compliment is that my son didn’t want to leave! He had so much fun that he was excited to go back, which gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy our time as well. I would absolutely trust them with my child again! Thank you to Flor, Sharon, Cynthia, Mariel, Angie, and everyone else who cared for my son and helped make our trip so special!!

We have stayed at Dreams Sands Cancun four times now, and it truly never disappoints! Every visit reminds us why we continue coming back. We always upgrade to the Preferred Club, and the experience has consistently been wonderful. The resort is incredibly clean and well maintained, the location and beach are beautiful, but what really makes Dreams Sands special is the staff. Some of the kindest, most welcoming, and hardworking people we’ve met are here. A huge shoutout to Issac, Candelario, Mauro, Russel, Josue, Usilies, Lorenzo, Roger, and so many others who have made our stays so memorable. Isaac has become one of our greatest friends and we can’t wait to see him again. The level of hospitality is one of the biggest reasons we continue choosing this resort year after year. This trip, I also had a massage at the spa for the first time, and it was absolutely magical. I can’t believe I waited until our fourth visit to try it! It was incredible addition to an already amazing vacation. After four stays, Dreams Sands continues to feel like a place we can count on for an amazing vacation and to meet the best people!! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are five different restaurants to choose from, all included in the all-inclusive package. Additionally, the Japanese restaurant has a very nice performance that is also free of charge. The hotel helps you with everything you need. They even offer you a room on the afternoon of your departure, so you can take a shower or get changed if you want to swim, since your regular room has to be vacated by 12:00. Every night, there is a different show, and during the day there is also a wide range of activities available free of charge. There is always something to do, whether you want to relax, enjoy the entertainment, or take part in one of the many activities. Very good also for families.

The resort was overall nice, the beds and pillows were so hard. The beach is not how it is advertised on their website. We were part of the preferred club, which would honestly be my highest recommendation if you are going to this resort. The main pools are extremely hot and not comfortable. The preferred pool was nice and cold, but on the smaller side. The preferred club lounge was our favorite part for morning work and snacks, their drinks are great also. Our kids (10,6, & 2) loved the explorer club, which was a plus! We have stayed at multiple resorts in Cancun, and this resort is still good, just not our favorite.
