Surrounded on three sides by the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean, Camino Real Cancun is an elegant Mayan inspired retreat nestled on the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. Spend relaxing days lounging under one of the many palapas dotting the resort's two secluded white sand beaches, stroll along the private lagoon or dine on exquisite cuisine at a collection of restaurants including the renowned Maria Bonita. Sophisticated style, traditional Mayan ambiance and panoramic views make this resplendent retreat one of Cancun's finest.

Dream sands had some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. Never been more excited to get to an airport in my entire life. I watched the bartender fill a half full used glass of champagne and give it to me after I ordered. Property was clearly a poorly updated bad hotel.

The daytime entertainment crew was great! Luis, Diana, Melissa and Carlos were all super friendly and easily made you want to get involved in the activities without being pushy. They remembered names so well and really helped us have a great time. Kudos to their hard work for making the trip such a fun experience!

Beach is amazing; kids club is wonderful; hotel still needs improvement in facilities but it will get there in 12 months with new partnership with Hyatt.

Dreams Sands was lovely! We have only ever been to one other all inclusive and to say the least this was a significant step up. The Events and Experience Team was truly engaged. They were never pushy but were easy going and got folks involved in the activities. There was always something to do, Angeles and Mauricio made sure of that! The food was excellent and we were never bored. We only left the resort twice to scuba dive and it was such a relaxing and fun vacation. We played volleyball in the ocean, made guacamole, there were several wine and tequila tastings, and a variety of games. Every night there was a show with all sorts of acrobatics to impress kids and adults.

Disappointed with our stay. We travelled with multiple family members for our wedding. The staff was very friendly and courtesy. The resort changed the day of the wedding though there was not a wedding the day we originally chose. We also were not given accurate options regarding our wedding which ended up costing substantially more. I had arranged a spa treatment for a member of our party as the change in wedding day cost them additional travel and expense. She went for her treatment and said they had no one to do the treatment and to come back in a couple of hours though we already family picture arranged at that time and she was leaving the following morning. I talked with concierge as they asked about concerns but there was no follow up. Will NOT plan on returning to another Hyatt resort for our next family vacation
