Dreams Sands Cancun

This was our first time in Cancun, we chose this hotel as I’d read a lot about finding the right beach front in Cancun. We are beach people & the beach here is beautiful. The view is like something from a movie ! Location is great for walking distance to shops and night life. Food was good for an all inclusive, especially made better by server Eduardo’s kindness at breakfast & Jorjes singing❤️ We found the service overall very good, everyone is very polite, chatty and helpful. My mam did have a small accident whilst here and was treated with the upmost respect by reception and medical staff. We really enjoyed getting involved in activities ran by the entertainment team (not something I usually do but that’s how fun they are !) special shout out to Michelle, Angy, Eric, Alex, Maria, Charley & Jayden❤️ My Mam especially enjoyed Michelle’s bracelet making and water aerobics. Also a special thanks to server Abraham who never had our cups empty at the pool! We look forward to our return. Irlanda 🍀

We have stayed here several times and have always loved it. The food at every restaurant was great (although I couldn't get a veggie burger.) Even though I'm vegetarian, I did find enough to eat that was really good. My room was "so so" but the spectacular view made it perfect. I usually don't like buffet restaurants but the World Cafe was almost perfect, thanks to Raul and Cesar. Oh and get the crepes, if you can. I highly r😘ecommend the Preferred Club.. top shelf everything, as were Antonio -bar and Carlos - check im. The staff is what really makes the resort great and this staff is fabulous. I hate to just throw names out but they were that good: Sergio from the preferred pool bar made sure we never had an empty drink. Luis, consirege from the preferred pool bar, set us up every morning with towels and chairs. This resort probably has the best beach along The Cancun Coast because it's like a sandbar that goes out forever. We didn't have small kids here, so we just liked the resort anyway. I can't think of a lot of things negative to say. We did have to have a fan delivered to our room and, of course, I couldn't get the veggie burger. Ha.

My friend and I came here for a cheaper girls trip but had a great time! The staff are all very attentive and friendly, constantly asking if we needed anything like a fresh drink. Michelle is part of the Entertainment Team, she constantly went around to inform us about events that were happening and always had a beautiful smile and cheerful attitude. She invited us to make bracelets and then guacamole! She made our trip so fun and we’re so glad we met her! The food in the buffet was probably the best because you could season things yourself. The Mexican restaurant was ok, the Blue Octopus tacos were delicious. Our server Fernando was wonderful, so kind and constantly checked on us. He provided fresh drinks and brought our food out promptly. He made our experience wonderful. The hibachi experience needs to be reserved ahead of time, the experience was fun but the flavor was a little mild. You can add siracha and yum yum sauce after. The steakhouse was ok, the rib eye is thin and there’s only a small amount of good fat on it. The rest is chewy with lots of connective tissue. The rooms were kept very clean with a turndown service and room cleaning performed every day. They also keep the minibar stocked. There’s kayaks, SUPs, and sailboats you can borrow for free if the weather is ok. Israel and his team helped us out and also helped book our excursions for an excellent price. He even showed us where the best snorkeling spots were around the hotel and offered to boat us out to a better snorkeling spot for free! We were laughing the entire time and didn’t feel like he was trying to rip us off, truly a great guy! Overall we are very happy with our experience! The staff truly love the guests and provide a great vacation. Just wish the food was slightly better.

We had so much fun here, the staff was amazing. Michelle was so personable. She made us feel so welcome, she was so sweet, remembered us and got us involved in guacamole making, making bracelets. She came over to invite us to all the events. She was amazing, and such a pleasure to interact with.
