Great location and size. It was easy to keep an eye on the older kids without being right next to them, both in the pools and the beach. The daily buffet was fantastic and met the needs of the varying tastes in our group. El Patio was by far the best meal. Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. We had a partial ocean view room; it was updated, clean, and the ac worked great. Nothing fancy, but we didn't go there to hang out in the room! Entertainment was good. Think up until midnight dancing vibes, not 5am craziness. Would definitely visit again.

The rooms were outdated. Looks nothing like the photo. Our room was always hot! The room was small, no couch . We paid for preferred level and that was a joke. Anyone could have said preferred level and they would never know: You don’t need your room key to access preferred level. The only extra amenities is a stocked mini fridge that did not work and had to be replaced! The restaurant wait time was horrible-2hr waits: The steakhouse and Hibachi were the only 2 that were decent. This was a first time taking my kids one being 15 , otherwise we stay at adults only: This beach was the nastiest ever. So filthy you couldn’t get in! I will not go back here!

Let me start off by saying I traveled to Mexico multiple times a year and I always stay at all inclusive resorts. I have never had a bad experience until this trip. It being a Hyatt hotel I expected so much more. The check-in process was awful once we got up to our room our bags took an hour and a half to get to us. It took two phone calls and me going down there myself to remind them. We needed our bags. The food… One of my favorite things about an all-inclusive resort is eating. Usually the food is so good. Here the food is barely edible and 9 times out of 10 cold. The only good meal I had the entire trip was at the Mexican restaurant. The food was hot there and the service was great. Every other restaurant was awful. The room service was worse than cafeteria food. The beach does not look like the photos on the website. There were red flags in the water the entire trip and there are huge rocks in the water that make it difficult to even walk. The water is not blue like the photos either and there is barely any sand. The nightly entertainment was awful as well. I will say that the staff is very kind and always so warm. I have no other positive things I can say. I will NOT be returning.
