everything was super amazing and the staff was wonderful .The beds were absolutely very comfortable as were the pillows ,the deck chairs could be a little better in the comfortability aspect. I would have enjoyed a regular coffee maker instead of Expresso machine.

Dreams Sands

The resort is small and good for a short stay. Beach is nice. People do reserve chairs and the resort doesnt enforce no saving chairs or move items for unused chairs. But later in the afternoon, chairs do open up. Service is good. The rooms do need updating but they are clean and views are beautiful.

We arrived yesterday at the resort. Everything is nice, tidy, the staff is friendly, we are only dissapointed with room.We paid for deluxe rooms and got a regular room with a side view of the pool. The room has no balcony with a window that you can open 10 cm. A real disappointment.

Having visited 4 Resorts in Cancun over the last couple of weeks, enclosed pls find our family review of the Dreams Sands (the others are Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, Marriott Resort and the Kempinski). If you like to see how the Resorts compare, please scroll down to see our little ranking. But lets start with the Dreams Sands (member of Hyatt Inclusive Collection) Located on the best stretch of beach (along with the Interconti) this is all white sands, picture perfect ocean and safe and calm waters - even for smaller kids. Seaweed free even in April. What a difference to the other side of Cancun (which has generally more wind/high waves and seaweed, there. Back to the Sands: Surroundings: We liked especially the relaxed scene and the calm of the resort. Yes there is music and entertainment but you do not have the constant annoying wind noise which you have on the other side of Cancun That makes it so much more relaxed on this side. The views from our balconied room very perfect. Rooms: We had a picture perfect view from out balconied room on the Preferred Club Level. The room itself had a comfortable king bed, a one sink bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. Rooms are nice, however bathrooms need upgrading and better maintenance. Nothing annoying but that could be better. Pools /Beach: Nice pools 2 big ones and 1 for preferred members. Easy unlimited towel service. Sunbeds with shade will be taken early morning. Beds in the sun all day long available. Good service at the beds regarding drinks and food. Well done! Preferred Club: Hands down - having a lounge in an all inclusive resort does not make any real sense. The additional Restaurant that ist available for breakfast at the Pool, was a nice add on in order to avoid the buffet. We never used the Prefered Club beach or pool. The regular areas where at least as appealing as the Club Section. Kids Club: Super friendly, engaged. Two rooms with toys and ready for movie nights, parties, beach camp, etc. Daily swinnming hours- if you agree. They take your kids to Lunch or Dinner if necessary. Program mostly till 9pm. Well done. Food: Service at every restaurant, bar, on the beach and the pool was great. Friendly and quick. No reservation policy at the Restaurants (except Tepanyaki) is a plus in our view because this takes timing out of your routine (but this could be viewed differently). No bracelets to be identified as an AI guest is a huge plus, thus you avoid this ugly wristbands. Food quality: The buffet is the weak link, however, all the a la carte restaurants are good, especially the Japanese was to our liking. Conclusion: Would come back. Great beach and ocean. This is a good place for kids, with an overall relaxing vipe and friendly people who work there. Our Ranking: Please not - all hotels have wonderful oceans in front. Best Beach: 1. Dreams Sands 2. Kempinski (best beach on that side, big, well maintained by the crew) 3. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort (beach narrow, full of seaweed) Best Ocean (calm waters) 1. Dreams Sands 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Kempinski 4. Marriott Resort Best Service: 1. Kempinski 2. Dreams Sands 3. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort Best Food: 1. Kempinski 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Dreams Sands 4. Marriott Resort Best Kids Entertainment (all hotels have KidsClubs) 1. Marriott Resort (with wasterslide and lazy river) 2. Dreams Sands 3. Kempinski and Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Best Pool 1. Kempinski (only hotel that had heated pools, means easy in) 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Dreams Sands 4. Marriott Resort Calm to Busy (depending on your needs the number 4 can be right for you, too) 1. Kempinski 2. Dreams Sands 3. Fiesta American Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort

Very disappointed in the staff and service of the resort. The pools are in very bad condition with pool tiles missing. While there someone cut themselves very badly due to the poor conditions of the pool. Overall I was not impressed with the resort. Definitely stay at another resort there are some beautiful ones with great service.
