Dreams Sands Cancun

The resort was overall nice, the beds and pillows were so hard. The beach is not how it is advertised on their website. We were part of the preferred club, which would honestly be my highest recommendation if you are going to this resort. The main pools are extremely hot and not comfortable. The preferred pool was nice and cold, but on the smaller side. The preferred club lounge was our favorite part for morning work and snacks, their drinks are great also. Our kids (10,6, & 2) loved the explorer club, which was a plus! We have stayed at multiple resorts in Cancun, and this resort is still good, just not our favorite.

We had an amazing trip at Dreams Cancun! My teenage daughter and I took our annual Girls Trip and chose this resort because of the positive reviews. It did not disappoint! The resort is beautiful. Our room was always clean and full of amenities that made our stay even better. We enjoyed the pools, beach, and tons of good food each day. The staff was top notch and always took care of our every need. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this resort to family and friends.

Very friendly staff. Family oriented. Great food with many choices!! Coffee and ice cream available all day. Great entertainment.

We loved all of this place. Wonderful staff the most. They went out of their way to make us feel loved and special. Of course they’re always a few hiccups anywhere, but I would say for the price point this is killer! we did the wine tasting, both sommeliers were awesome. We adore Isaac from the preferred beach area. Will be back just to see him and Pedro! Photo attached shows me sad to leave isaac! The preferred pool is overcrowded with children and who should probably not be allowed in there. It was kind of like a monkey circus. I would recommend a designated kid Pool. These guys work their booties off; you can have incredible service by Pedro at the poolside restaurant Olio by day and he will serve you again incredibly at night at the Asian fusion we celebrated our birthdays and they took care of us really well and made it special. I am a wine sommelier who runs 62 restaurants and I would say this place does an amazing job. Logistically it’s tough and they do well. Entertainment staff was super fun. Angie is a hoot. We love the Asian restaurant. Buffet was perfect. Come on. It’s buffet food yet the service impeccable. Beautiful grounds. Clean rooms. Just a staff who takes pride and everything. even the bell boys were adorable. ( wish I remembers their names) Go there to have a great time and you will! Great beach, fun drinks, clean atmosphere. Beautiful view. TIP your people. I recommend going there with about US$200-US$300 in one to 5 dollar bills for a weeks stay and you’ll be set do you have an incredible week! And take out a kayak for half hour- everyday. It’s gorgeous! They’ll even take you on a hobie cat.

I just ended my stay and I wish I never left. Right as we arrived staff quickly treated us like family and that made our entire vacation. The entertainment team did an amazing job including everyone. Alex, Angie and Michelle apart of the team really encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and I’m so glad they did! All of the workers really got to know you. The waiters and bartenders always served you with a smile on their face. Jorge and Misael were incredible bar tenders who really treated us like family while making incredible drinks for us. All workers were hardworking and responsible and a special shoutout should go to Brian, he was there everyday during our stay and was always getting his job done with a warm and welcoming smile. Vacations aren’t always just about where you go. But they are about the people you meet. Dreams sands resort has incredible staff who really get to know you and treat you like family!
