We LOVED our stay her! The beach and the pools were great! I loved how you walk out and the beach is right there. The staff was attentive and friendly everywhere on the property. Some parts of the halls and rooms were a little worn or dated, but clean. The entertainment was great, especially the theme nights outside by the pool. We met people who have been coming back for years! We will be back next year!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was unfortunately marked by a series of concerns that set the tone for our stay. We checked in at 11:30 AM after an early flight from Toronto, having been awake since 3:00 AM, only to be told that no restaurants were open. For an all-inclusive resort in this price range, this was both surprising and disappointing. The front desk advised that nothing would open until 12:30 PM, aside from a small coffee shop in the lobby. Given how exhausted and hungry we were, this lack of basic hospitality felt like a missed opportunity to make a strong first impression. Seeking alternatives, I approached another staff member who informed me that had we upgraded to “Club Class,” we would have had access to food earlier. This immediately raised concerns about a tiered guest experience that restricts even basic amenities unless you pay more, something we did not expect at an all-inclusive resort. At 12:30 PM, we went to the beach restaurant, only to wait an additional 45 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, this pattern of long wait times continued throughout our stay. That evening, the hotel hosted what appeared to be a beautiful outdoor dinner by the pool and ocean. However, we were told that to reserve a table, we would need to pay $100 USD. Otherwise, seating was not guaranteed and we risked being placed at the back or not accommodated at all. Considering we were already paying approximately $750 CAD per night, this felt unreasonable and inconsistent with the “all-inclusive” concept. We chose not to pay the additional fee and, fortunately, were still able to secure a good table. The evening itself was enjoyable, there was a buffet, a bottle of wine, and live salsa music that created a lovely atmosphere. This was one of the few highlights of our stay. We had specifically selected this resort because of its smaller size, as my mother has mobility challenges. However, despite this, it was nearly impossible to secure a poolside or beachside lounger for her, which made relaxation difficult and frustrating. On our second night, we dined at the steak à la carte restaurant, where we experienced another delay, 30 minutes to be seated and nearly an hour for our food to arrive. Later that night, my daughter became ill, experiencing vomiting and stomach cramps that lasted throughout the night, which was extremely concerning. Ultimately, we decided to cut our trip short. Before leaving, we formally raised our concerns with the front desk. Overall, while there were a few bright spots, the repeated service delays, upselling tactics, lack of accessibility accommodations, and health concerns significantly impacted our experience. For the price point, we expected a much higher standard of service and consistency.

This resort is exactly on par with what we expected from a 4 star all inclusive, in the best way! We weren't expecting the nicest resort ever, but at the same time had all of our needs and expectations met with good food, clean rooms, friendly staff, and an overall enjoyable environment. The reviews of this hotel that are bad are written by people that clearly visited with expectations that were higher than their price range - Don't listen to them, just be realistic! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful 5 night vacation, and totally felt like we got our bang for our buck in terms of value. Would recommend if you are looking for an easy vacation! And shoutout to our favorite guy, Russel, at the lobby bar - He made us the best cocktails all week. An additional note is that we were slightly concerned about water quality and getting sick - Not because of the resort, but just because of the reputation Mexico gets for its water. We didn't have any of the tap water or ice during our visit out of caution, but other people around us were enjoying the water and ice and were seemingly unaffected.

This place has a soul and a pulse. And they have the friendliest staff that I’ve experienced in a long time. It’s obvious everyone here tries to make your trip better. And the daily/nightly events keep the place full of life and bustling. Rooms were clean and comfortable. And when we needed housekeeping, it was handled quickly. Of course anyone can take a choice picture of this stain, or clogged sink, but I’d consider that misleading based on seeing this property myself. Long, shallow beach. I do think “Preferred” access is the right route for a stay here. Excellent service at the beach in the Preferred section. The main buffet restaurant was really good. I’m not too picky, but I love TexMex and was having some of the best Mexican food every meal. Try their excellent salsas; I’m going to miss those. I would gladly pick this resort again based purely on all the staff’s strong efforts at every turn.
