Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach

We have 2 kids, ages 4 and 1. So vacations are often more work than fun. But our stay here at Grande Fiesta Coral Beach Cancun was as relaxing as you can get at this stage of life. It’s the first time we looked at each other and said, let’s just come back here next time. Special thanks to Gabby and all the great teachers at the Coral Beach KidZ Club who treated our daughter like a celebrity!

The week my wife and I spent at the Grand Fiesta Coral Beach was wonderful. The room was beautiful. The view from the balcony was amazing. The beach was narrow, but was very clean with no seaweed at all. The staff there were very helpful. We booked an Infinite room so we had a private area there. The food was good, however the temperature of the food at the buffet was never quite hot enough. You were better off going to the breakfast at Isla Contoy where it was cooked to order. The only issue we had was when checking out I did receive a copy of the folio for our stay. We booked through a travel agent so it was 99% prepaid. The only charges would be for incidentals or spa treatments and premiums amenities. I was charged an additional $342.00. We did use the Spa but I was quoted the price in pesos so iI just want to see the price in dollars. The resort stated that a copy would be slipped under the door the night before we left. This was not done. Upon returning the room keys to the front desk I was told that a copy would be emailed to me that day. It is now 10 days since we left and nothing has been received. My travel agent has been trying to get a copy and the resort now says the request has to be in writing. This is ridiculous. It leads me to believe that they are trying to hide something. Will think twice about returning to this establishment or even recommending it to friends or family.

If you’re wondering, this is a MUST on your list of places to visit. From the service to the cuisine everything was amazing, more than amazing!!! We opted out of the oyster part but went with the escargot and it did not disappoint!!! Jonathan and Miguel went above and beyond in their service. If you are ever at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach resort in Cancun, Mx, we would highly recommend this for one of your evening options. I hope I dream about it tonight 😋

The positives- the hotel is clean, the teppanyaki restaurant is absolutely amazing and the chef makes it a great experience, the silent disco was great, 24/7 room service, BBQ around the pool was a nice touch. The beach is paradise and the pool areas are huge. I am comparing this to many other 5 star resorts I have stayed in and I would rate this hotel 4 star max. The Mexican and Italian restaurant were awful. Not one employee asked how our stay was, not even at check out even though I mentioned I was really unwell. I have been bed bound and violently ill for 7 days after returning and spoke to other guests whom also got really ill during their stay. I had high hopes for this property but sadly will not be returning. There is great potential at this property.

It was the perfect resort for a family trip, with 2 parents and 4 kids (ages 13-20). Had 2 rooms with a nice layout, big enough for everyone to have space. The hotel was beautiful, and the restaurants were very good, with many different options that pleased everyone. the all-day buffet was most popular for us given that you could go at any time of the day and eat all you wanted. The resort employees were always helpful and always found a way to help us get what we needed. The many pools were perfect for lounging and play. The person who made our trip the most relaxing was our pool-side server, Carlos Coatl. He was there from morning to evening working hard to make sure that every guest had food and drinks at all times. I hope you are lucky enough to find him at the pool for your visit. We highly recommend this resort!
