Food poisoning galore
I’ll give the good and the bad. Good- The resort is big, in a good location for walking around downtown and has a big, clean pool/beach area. It is a really pretty hotel with good beach views. The staff were great, rooms were clean, AC cold and beds comfy. The alcohol for the 1 1/2 days I could enjoy it was good too. Mexican fiesta show was good. BAD- half of our group of 9 ended up with food poisoning. The second night we were there it turns out that what seemed like half of the resort was puking after talking with people (after I emerged from my toilet bed for the night). When I mentioned everyone being sick literally the staff pretended like I didn’t say a thing. Almost impossible to get reservations for dinner and figuring where and when the activities were was hard and they were listed all over the place vs. a paper hand out or an easy to use app that shows everything. Activities all had limited spots so book early. My teen daughter and her friends were bored out of their minds because after 8 there wasn’t much for them other than karaoke which was fun but not every night. They advertised a teen club but they said it was all super young kids with parents. When we did get to eat (which after puking a ton was rare) the food we had was average. We go to Cancun every year and the #2 hotel rating tricked us into spending more money than usual for a disappointing experience.

Amazing hospitality, good food, great pools.
Had a great time with the heated pool, and they have this little splash area in kids club that was perfect for my 2 year old. Nice rooms. Hospitality was excellent, great service all around.

Literally the worst experience. Went with a group of probably 100 and a good third of us ended up w food poisoning

This hotel is luxurious and beautiful! The staff was always gracious and helpful and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish! :) The fresh flowers were lovely, the pool was marvelous, and the food for our conference was scrumptious!

Loved the hotel, our stay was wonderful! Everyone did an excellent job. The food was phenomenal. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for a great, amazing stay. I have already recommended the resort to all my friends and coworkers! We will be back!
