Underwhelming experience
Our experience was, unfortunately, underwhelming. It took nearly 25 minutes for us to complete the check-in process, which set a disappointing tone for the stay. Upon entering the room, we found it to be somewhat dated. There were two telephones, neither of which were functional—one was not connected at all, and the other had no dial tone. Additionally, the shower door did not close properly, and the hair dryer was inoperable when my wife attempted to use it. The one redeeming feature was the beautiful view of the water, which we truly appreciated. However, given that this is a 5-star hotel, we expected a significantly higher standard of service and maintenance.

Hidalgo and Gilberto - Los Mejores Meseros
One of the primary reasons we keep coming back to the JW Marriott is because of the meseros a la alberca. Specifically Gilberto and Hidalgo. They are absolutely amazing and maintain the world class reputation of service the JW Marriott has been known for.

Great service
Jose in the 750 degrees Pizzeria is so friendly— he gave us generous samples for ice cream. In addition to that, all staff members were very kind and thoughtful and helped me and my friends get matching bracelets. We appreciate the accommodating service!
