About the Hotel

The cerulean ocean is the resort's ubiquitous backdrop and all 448 rooms have private balconies where to take in the view. Appointed in classic style, roomy accommodations (the smallest measures 465 square feet) feature sitting areas with lively color accents, wireless Internet access, 32-inch flat-panel televisions and twice-daily maid service. Bathrooms are exquisitely marble-bedecked with separate tubs and showers.

Swim at the JW

Not a happy Titanium member
As a titanium member I am very use to Marriott customer service and how the JW is "usually" above the rest. But this one is the exception. Horrible treatment during check in especially from the apparent supervisor Nabil Castaneda. Front desk manager that I just talk to about broken water pipes was horrible. Pool staff and maintenance team are great like you'd expect at a JW Over all I would avoid this JW as we are not even sure if it is safe. #marriott #bonvoy

JW Marriott Cancun: the people make it special
Our family can’t say enough about the quality of vacation we had at JW Marriott Cancun. We stayed a week, and let these professionals make the trip absolutely special in every way. From spending the day poolside, which was cleaned every morning, towels at the ready, Beachwalk staff attentive without being intrusive, and food and drink a perfect fit for the setting; ordering simple meals from the JW cafe (pizzas and smoothies delicious!); multiple dinners at Bravio, Gustino, and the Speakeasy which were layers of careful service, kindness, and excellent culinary experiences; talking to off-duty staff on the beach, each of whom spoke warmly of our trip there and the work they do; pulling a Beachside server to the hatching turtles, and having him explain in detail how the hotel protects nesting sites and saved the babies from birds; and how across the hotel at every level there was genuine KINDNESS and PRIDE in their work and their home. Shoutout to Valeria at the Speakeasy, but every server we had could be counted here (Augustin, Russell, Stephanie….I should have made a proper list!). We had the oceanfront grand suite, an oasis! Spa facial experience was first rate! I can’t recommend this hotel enough as a relaxing getaway.

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable Views from room Beach Cons: There was garbage and food food in pool. I reported to reception.
