JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa

We had an incredible stay at the JW. The hotel had everything we needed, and then some. Breakfast buffet every morning was incredible and the staff were so great. The pools and beach area were perfect for our large family, including young children. Julio R and Jorge served us at the pool for several days and were kind, courteous and attentive to our needs. Julio R’s mezcalitas were on point! We hope to be back :)

This property is not a 5 star resort. It’s is nice but if not a 5 star. For the price I expected a little more. Staff was wonderful.

My wife and I came here for a long weekend to defrost and decompress. This place was the perfect choice. We spent the whole time by the pool overlooking the ocean, reading books, taking a dip, and sipping on Pina Coladas. Everything is super clean and well-maintained. There is even an adults-only pool area where we stayed the whole time--with a swim up bar as well as service to each person at their loungers. Our package included a free wine-tasting, body scrub product from the spa, and free cocktails. There is also a complementary guacamole bar each afternoon in the lobby. What really sets JWM apart is the staff. Everyone smiles and says hello and goes out of their way to make the experience great: front desk staff, porters, servers, housekeeping, etc. After a few days, a few of them even knew our names! We left only one time to go to dinner at a restaurant across the way. Otherwise, there is a wide variety of places to eat as well as a snack/pizza place. The food at each place was wonderful. I would definitely come back to JWM Cancun.

We had not been to the JW in a couple of years- The minute we walked into the lobby-the feeling of "Welcome Home" came over us. Miguel checked us into our room- He was delightful and courteous. I had mention we just booked this trip the night before and it was my birthday. He wished my a Happy Birthday and asked if he could send something special to our room. I replies with a "YES" He thanked me for my Titanium status. Every team member/staff in the Hotel would call me by my name and thank me for my status. The Breakfast Team- Eliza and Manuel and the rest went above and beyond to make us feel Welcomed. We had dinner one night on property-Bravio- the Spanish Restaurant. The service was exceptional. The Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection. All the servers at the Adult area were constantly checking on us thru out the day-mine you the Hotel was full and very busy, they were on the move constantly. The Nachos and Fish Tacos were fabulous. Thank you Marriott for making my Birthday Special!!! We will be back soon

We are staying here now with our 3 young children (3,6,&7) it has been an amazing experience. But there was a server at breakfast who has made our trip. Ricardo went the extra mile for us in every way, from helping our kids at the brunch buffet so my husband and I could focus on our own plates, to refills before we needed to ask, complimentary this or that, helping before we had to ask for help, and overall kindness. The little things are the big things. Thank you, Ricardo!!
