Luxury Residences by Villa del Palmar Cancun

Octavio was excellent at providing customer service. When we had an issue with the AC he immediately moved us to the room next door.

This getaway with friends was a great experience. This resort is very kid friendly. What is a standout was the staff. In particular we want to recognize the great experience created by Carlos at reception, Kevin at the pool, and Cesar at Caprichos.

This was our second visit to Villa Del Palmar, and it is our favorite vacation destination. Both times we've traveled here as a family we've brought friends with us on our recommendation and all have enjoyed the amenities. The family suite is unmatched in its size and accommodations for our family of 5, with everyone having plenty of space. We love the room service as well as all of the restaurants. We didn't have a single bad meal during either of our stays so far. The pool is wonderful, and the activities ample for our kids. The wibbit, children's pool, kayaks, etc. are all great. The only problem we had this year was major. My father in law died, and his funeral plans affected our reservation. We were able to arrive late, but the resort did not have availability to extend our stay on the back end nor were they able to refund us for the unused night. We understood the extenuating circumstances and didn't expect them to be able to accomodate, though we hoped so. But we were very disappointed in the customer service from the front desk. When my husband dealt with the front desk, there was no appreciation for the loss of his father, nor any desire to see what could be done to mediate the situation. An offer of "10% off a future spa treatment during a future stay" was a disappointing answer when we were out lots of money because of an unused night. We were sorry to have such an unfortunate experience with management when the rest of our stay was so lovely. We have been loyal customers who have recommended the resort and even brought extra customers with us multiple times. We will now have to think twice about recommending such a wonderful place.

Itza is wonderful. She greeted us with a big smile and provided us with information for our stay. She was available throughout our stay to answer any questions. Our 2 yo, talking to Itza during our stay, "I love you." We thoroughly enjoyed Cesar's pleasantness and service at breakfast. Excellent. We were 3 generations and our rooms (fifth floor, 2br suite) were perfect for us. Deck with view of the ocean. Comfortable beds. Stocked fridge. The pools were sparkling, spacious and not overcrowded. The beach was clean with easy access to the beachside bar. The ubiquitous waitstaff was always available to bring beverages and snacks. We easily walked to the ferry to Isla Mujeres, where we rented a golf cart to explore. Nice beaches there, also. We highly recommend Villa del Palmar Cancun. Zero negatives.
