Very welcoming and easy to stay at and be comfortable!
Our maid was wonderful and kept everything immaculate during our stay. We greatly appreciated Zerferina Garcia attention to detail. Alfredo, Arnoldo, and Johnny, the concierge group were really amazing and loved to help with our two week stay. Their due diligence served us perfectly and I love to see them every year we come here. Everyone was very helpful and happy to help in whatever way they could.

Relaxing at the Royal Cancun
Loved the resort. It was quiet and peaceful. Lovely setting, and easy to navigate. Great staff, very friendly. Oter guests were fun and friendly. Very much like family.

OK, but not great.
The rooms at this resort are great. Large with everything you need for a stay with family, including a full kitchen and separate bedrooms. We were assigned a room with a pool view that was right next to a utility room and the main dining area. Luckily we are early risers as the noise started at 5:30 or 6am right outside our room. Others in our party had beach front rooms which were super convenient and not so noisy. Unfortunately, the food at this resort is average at best. Some meals were sent back. The Italian restaurant was better than the main, but still not great. The cleaning staff was very good and very friendly. The restaurant staff in the main was slow and often grumpy. Bar service on the beach was good. We would not go back.

Great place for Holiday season
Staying at the Royal Cancun is always paradise. Quiet, beautiful during the holiday season and has good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful!

Low Key and beautiful
We were a little concerned when we walked in and there was no grand foyer or view of the ocean. But once we were shown to our 2 bdrm villa facing the beach our concern went away. Very nice and very Clean rooms provided. Everything you need is on property. I think the resort should put up signage to tell guests which direction to go … restaurants,lobby, pool,towels …It is a maze and nothing made sense. Until after a few days. The towels should be closer to everyone who needs them and not tucked away in the furthest corner of the resort. The food was great at every restaurant. I just wished they would add specials or change up the menus. But we enjoyed it
