Javier Sánchez gave us impeccable service. He made a special reservation for us and had a white tablecloth service ready. The dinner was perfect and ended with a dessert with wishes for our safe travels written on the plate. True attention to detail like this is hard to find.

We Love this resort, been coming here since 2020! Great staff, Great service starting since we arribe with Diego (bellman) best servers Daniel and Fernando at night, Moises at the buffet, and Ricardo best bartender! Everyone is so warm…Anita and Rafael always spoiling us. Thank you so much guys you are all the resson why me amd my family keep coming back!

It was our first time at the Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa in Mexico and we honestly loved it! Our stay was truly amazing beginning upon our arrival at the hotel and ending with our departure. The desk clerk wanted to know if we were celebrating a special occasion and I told him we were celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary. A day before our anniversary we received a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries. Very thoughtful and was appreciated immensely. Some highlights worth noting include the exceptional guest service. We had the pleasure of interacting with dozens of employees during our 12 days stay — from the front desk, concierge staff, hospitality, and restaurant staff. Without exception, every person we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. While it is challenging enough to source and hire individuals with strong guest service skills, it is truly remarkable to foster a culture where this level of excellence is consistent across the entire property. Every employee we interacted with in person made sure we were provided outstanding service and quickly took care of our request. At the Sunset Grill a few staff members were wonderful—always smiling and offering excellent service and great food. Anna of the concierge staff was exceptional at providing us with distilled water, making reservations for our cabana at the beach and pool. We requested a special breakfast of eggs benedict and champagne the morning of our 58th anniversary. The staff that morning had prepared a special table for us on the terrace overlooking the ocean at Ventanas and served us breakfast. She also made the evening of our 58th anniversary with a romantic dinner on the beach, and she always greeted us with a smile and wanted to know if we needed anything and especially how our vacation at Sunscape Cancun was going. She came to our cabana at the pool to say hello and if we were enjoying the resort. Some other standout employees we would like to highlight include a very special thanks to Victor who stopped by our table to talk with us at the Viaggio who made us a very special cup of coffee. Then there is Filiberto our waiter who made our evening extra special. He was genuinely friendly, very personable and made sure we had everything we wanted for dinner. He did an amazing job as our server and he should be recognized for it. What a wonderful dining experience and great food. The guys in the sports and entertainment team were amazing. Stretching, aerobics, bingo, pool and beach volleyball, darts. trivia and pool games, and much more. They were tireless and energetic. All the staff at the pool consistently ensured we had everything we needed and their attentiveness made our time by the pool especially enjoyable A very special thank you goes out to Christian who stopped by to talk with us at our cabana the first day we were at the pool. While talking we told him we were celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary and he thought that was amazing. In the afternoon Christian mentioned that two couples were celebrating wedding anniversaries. One their 30th anniversary and then he mentioned that a special couple, Mike and Sharon, in cabana #30 were celebrating their 58th anniversary and played a special love song by Elvis Presley, A couple of days later we were sitting in the lobby when Christian and Luis stopped to talk with us. I must mention that Luis played some of our favorite songs from the 60’s. The door to our room was decorated with a happy anniversary banner. The day of our anniversary our bed was covered with our bed with petals heart shaped. The bed was very comfortable. We felt the room was always kept clean (as well as the rest of the resort) and the work of the housekeeping staff showed it. The balcony of our room offered us with stunning views of beautiful sunrises and we enjoyed time on our balcony overlooking the ocean with its different colors and listening to the waves come in. The air conditioner worked very well and we were able to adjust the temperature or turn it off if the room got too cold for us. Overall, a fabulous stay and we would absolutely recommend Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa for a couple celebrating a special occasion or family looking for a great getaway in a pretty resort with outstanding service.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, and despite what was an extremely stressful situation, I would happily return. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled by British Airways, which left me in a very difficult and stressful situation, particularly as I was already unwell. The lack of communication and support from the airline made an already difficult situation even more challenging. I want to make it clear that none of this was the hotel’s fault. Once the hotel manager became aware of what had happened, he was incredibly accommodating, understanding and helpful. He went out of his way to support me during a very stressful time, and I genuinely appreciated his kindness and assistance. The hotel itself is a lovely place to visit, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Despite the circumstances surrounding my trip, I came away with a very positive impression of the hotel. Thank you to the manager and the hotel team for making a difficult situation that little bit easier. I would definitely come back and would happily recommend this hotel to others.
