I am compelled to put into words the outstanding experience we just had at the Regent Carlton Cannes Hotel for 7 days in March 2026. Our stay was to celebrate my wife’s 66th birthday. From the moment we walked through the front door our 5 star expectation was elevated to a 10 star experience. Every aspect of our stay, from reception desk to restaurant, from door staff to house keeping were all without doubt, friendly, courteous, engaging and helpful. The Regent Carlton Cannes Hotel ranks as one of our best hotel experiences throughout our lifetime, and we have stayed at some great hotels. I have no hesitation is recommending others to try it out. I don’t believe you will be disappointed!

I stayed at the Carlton in Cannes with my preteen son last week for three nights (after having spent a few days in Nice beforehand) on a quick getaway during my son’s Spring school break. To sum up our experience in one word, it was “exquisite.” The hotel itself is one of a kind. The perfect blend between luxury, elegance, and historic charm. As IHG Gold Elite members, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a partial view of the Mediterranean. The room was beautifully appointed and came with a number of complimentary perks. We had lunch at the Carlton Beach Club once, which was delicious and fun, and treated ourselves to drinks/snacks at the Camelia Tea Lounge twice. The Tea Lounge is an experience in and of itself. In the afternoon there was live music — a duo of a cellist and harpists, the epitome of European sophistication. Service is second to none. Everyone we interacted with, from concierge to wait staff, is a consummate professional, friendly, and accommodating. A special shout-out goes to client relations representative Aida, who went out of her way to find an appropriate accommodation when we had a problem with the room on the last day of our stay. She was understanding that the initial accommodation offered — switching rooms — was not an attractive one given it was our last day and would have constituted more of an inconvenience. Finally, one staff member deserves special recognition: Concierge Delphine. She is a true gem and made our stay so memorable. My son noticed her Clefs d’Or pins — he knew all about this distinction — and that got us talking about the history of this association and of the Carlton. Delphine was so attentive and just lovely on every imaginable level. I hope to return to the Carlton one day — next time hopefully with my whole family!
