Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel

If you’re going to Cannes in the summer, you need to decide if you want to stay with your peers or experience a different world. The Carlton caters to the Gukf elite who park their Bugattis in the front. If this is not your vibe, consider staying elsewhere as the staff if not attentive to those outside that key demographic. At the Carlton it’s pay to play. Otherwise, you’ll look askance at the shoebox sized rooms, the smoke infested terrace and the understaffed breakfast service and wonder if it isn’t resting on its laurels from seventy-five years ago.

We arrived in Carlton completely last minute, after deciding for a detour with our own plane, and hadn’t even booked a room in advance (and nothing else as well) and the team at the Carlon couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. They immediately offered us different options and supported us with everything we needed, making what could have been a really stressful arrival feel effortless. At the end of our stay, we also asked for a late check out and not only was it approved, they were even more generous with the timing than we expected, such a thoughtful gesture. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay: the staff were outstanding, breakfast was excellent, the food overall was great, and the beach experience was just next level. It was one of those stays where everything just feels easy and well taken care of. We are always visiting only 5 stars hotels and this one was one of the best ones. We can’t wait to come back again this year. Highly recommended!

De Carlton in Cannes is a beautiful hotel wigh beautiful staff. They are friendly, and always helpfull. It is always great to be here.

From the time of arrival to departure treated as if the only guest in the Carlton, recognised by name by all member of staff. The hotel is kept extremely clean and tidy and has the air of being what it is one of the Grand Hotels in the world. Breakfasts are unlimited in choices with excellent and friendly service. Always amazed by the number of languages the staff speak. The refurbished bedrooms are very comfortable and very quiet when the windows are closed. The public areas have a feel of grandeur and are well served by the many staff there. Reception are always helpful as are the many fully qualified concierges The guest relations team are always there to help and advise as well as having a pleasant chat. Another excellent stay and we will return next festive season

Very luxurious hotel with excellent service and friendly staff ! Also the location was very central and safe in front of the sea :) we will be back !
