Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel

Very nice hotel, clean, and very nicely remodeled. The staff were all amazing and very courteous. We will be going back next September.

Need to segregate smokers , outdoors of the bars and restaurant terrace. Put next to a heavy smoker for first day at breakfast, had to move. Also need competant management to oversee breakfast, the hot buffet had skin on baked beans, eggs overcooked, and bacon was dried out ...virtually inedible. Coffee tea service at breakfast needed constant reminding to get either first service or a top up.No table service offered even though one of our party had to use a cane to walk. ..... had much better service and food in cheap takeaways. Lack explanation of how gadgets in room worked, again loads staff, all very pleasant, but no one explained how lifts worked with cards, how and when to use facilities like the pool or coffee machine or even how the telephone workedfrom room to room, used our mobiles instead!!!

A beautiful hotel with amazing service. The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. The beach club was lively and fun with live music and great food. All of the restaurants on the property are excellent and Bar 58 is a great spot for a pre or post dinner cocktail. We will definitely be returning!

From the moment we arrived at the Carlton, we felt genuinely welcomed. The service throughout our stay was among the most attentive and thoughtful we have experienced anywhere in France. Every member of the team, from the valet, front desk and concierge to housekeeping and the doormen, went out of their way to make us feel looked after, always with warmth, professionalism and a real sense of pride in what they do. Requests were anticipated before we even had to make them, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The dining was another highlight. We dined at the Riviera restaurant and it was superb. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the service at the table matched the quality of the kitchen. The team was knowledgeable, gracious and perfectly paced, which made every meal feel special. The setting on the Croisette and a great sunset and fantastically curated background music only added to the experience. What sets the Carlton apart is its people. The combination of a grand, iconic address and a team that treats guests like individuals rather than room numbers is rare. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for true Riviera hospitality. Simply the best in town.
