Alas, I cannot recall the names of the lovely staff members who helped us so very much at this hotel. Afternoon front desk staff, a blonde and kind woman, took meticulous notes detailing what we would need heading into the weekend. She emailed all these directives to the entire staff of the hotel, all of whom were responsive and dedicated throughout. None seemed impatient with the details or the amount of help we needed. The friendly French gentleman at the pool was also exceptionally helpful. He provided all present with tips on how to maximize their individual night plans. The hotel is super clean and fresh. The AC works really well, this is a rarity in France. The spa was lovely. The pool, while reportedly not popular, was really nice. Not crowded but not empty either. The drawback of this hotel is its location. It’s right off the Cannes beach but is not a waterfront property. There are no views, the building is blocked by a tall church. The hotel has a beach club it partners with, but the staff at the beach club was SO nasty that after claiming my chair I decided not to go!! It was a tremendous contrast to the courtesy and kindness of the hotel staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at the 5 Seas Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless and warm, setting the tone for a truly relaxing visit. Our room was incredibly spacious, a rare find in Cannes, and beautifully designed for comfort. We also booked a massage at the spa during our stay, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had—highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this while you’re here. Another fun touch was the hotel’s golf cart service that brought us directly to the beach, making it so easy to pop down to the water without any hassle. Traveling with a toddler can be tricky, but the team at 5 Seas went above and beyond, providing a toddler bed and the sweetest pair of toddler slippers for our daughter, which made her feel so included in the experience. The standout, however, was the concierge team—truly the best we have encountered in all our travels. They not only handled every detail during our time in Cannes but even helped us plan and coordinate the next leg of our trip to Paris with care and precision. If you’re visiting Cannes, we can’t recommend the 5 Seas Hotel enough for a stay that is both luxurious and welcoming, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family.

My second stay at Five Seas and I can only stress about how amazing this hotel is. Honestly, the first time I stayed here in Dec 2022 with my wife: we were blown away by the attentive service, spacious rooms & top notch location. So I returned back here for a stay and I’m glad I did. Prior to my stay I made a few requests which they were kind enough to adhere to (of course off season availability helped). The requests made during my stay were attended to laser quick and the staff here is just incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ve been fortunate to stay at many luxury hotels across the world but I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve experienced. Perhaps has to be the best hotel in Cannes. Thank you to the entire team for this incredible experience. I can’t wait to come back already. PS: do NOT miss their rooftop restaurant, Le Roof, and make sure you try the Pornstar Martini. Thank me later. 😁

Full spa We chose this hotel because it offered massages, upon our arrival we asked to be able to benefit from massages but the reception service told us that the spa was full at our desired times, we would have liked to have been informed when booking the room because we would have booked another hotel

Positives + very clean – spotless + very comfortable bed and linens + excellent shower water pressure + small frig – take out their things and use for your own; also they give complimentary soda, water, and juice daily + lots of storage space with built ins – two large closets, real hangers, lots of shelves – just have to be sure to clean all shelves before use as they were dirty and dusty. + very professional and helpful staff in all roles + large nightstand tables that you can move + lighting switches on the side of the bed are very convenient + lovely breakfast although items cooked to order can take a while; service can be slow. Breakfast buffet is mostly breads and pastries, with smaller displays of cheese, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, and smoked salmon sandwich tidbits. The fruit is wonderfully fresh and delicious. Excellent quality and wonderful views from top floor. Hard boiled eggs, even ordered for a 12 minute cooking time, arrived with liquid yolks that exploded and spewed all over then trying to peel and open the egg. Negatives ---very dark, even with all lights on (not enough lighting) --- no counter or storage space in bathroom at all – no place to put anything other than the small area of tile at the back of the tub --- no towel hooks or racks within reach of shower ---large tub takes up a lot of space ---hand towel racks too low so towels brush against floor --- no clock --- at breakfast, ordering something off the menu can take a long time; service is slow. Hard boiled eggs, even ordered for a 12 minute cooking time, arrived with liquid yolks that exploded and spewed all over when trying to peel and open the egg. All of the bread is pretty stale. There are too many “pastry” or “dessert bread” options, vs. rolls or other yeasty breads. -- Le Roof is Le Quiet -- very dark, very quiet at night; not a nightlife spot like portrayed
