Built in the 1920s, the exquisite Art Deco-era Hotel Martinez reigns over Cannes, one of the most glamorous cities on the French Riviera. From palm-fringed grounds facing the sea, the hotel dominates La Croisette, the world-famous promenade. This Leading Hotels of the World and Concorde Hotels Group member was recently renovated and restored to its original grandeur. With outstanding dining, impeccable service and superb amenities, the Martinez remains one of the grandest hotels on the Riviera.

An amazing experience. 5-star staff. Everyone is kind. Beautiful hotel. Nice walk to Cannes. Very relaxing. Must check out the beach and have an aperol-spritz. Food wise: top notch. You can simply enjoy the sound of the beach, drinking Prosecco and casually eating in a sofa chair on the sand. Heaven! I'm usually sensitive to gluten but I could eat everything without issue. Easy to pay with apple-pay everywhere in the city.

Excellent experience in a beautiful hotel. Really appreciated the personal touches. Also, we forgot items in the room on checkout. I received an email that same day with a picture and option to pick up or ship to our home. Couldn't have gone smoother. Thanks!

This is an excellent hotel. Great location on the Croisette. The staff is exceptional, with incredible attention to detail. They really represent what excellent customer service is all about. Also, a great breakfast buffet! You will not be disappointed.

We spent the weekend at hotel Martinez and were extremely satisfied with both the comfort and, especially, the quality of service. From the very beginning, the service was personalized, attentive, and of a high standard. The room was comfortable, featuring modern decor with everything being new. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next occasion. This hotel has truly confirmed its five-star status, which is quite rare to find these days.

The Martinez, a Hyatt hotel, is the outpost for Americans in Cannes. At breakfast you are likely to be seated next to groups of friendly Americans who speak no French on a Tauck Tour of France. The beach club is superb, the rooms are larger and more intelligently designed than the Carlton, but the hotel is absolutely massive and it can feel like a seven minute walk from the room to the lift. While the name Martinez may imply palace level glamour, underneath it all it’s just a perfectly serviceable Hyatt that tries to throw a little bit of glamour on itself due to the lovely beach club.
