Mondrian Cannes

We recently stayed at the Mondrian Cannes at 45 Boulevard de la Croisette, and the entire experience was absolutely unbelievable.What sets this hotel apart is its beautifully understated vibe. The Mondrian offers a sophisticated, relaxed luxury that immediately makes you feel at ease. The unique garden and park area at the front provide a perfect, peaceful oasis right in the heart of Cannes.The service here is truly second to none. Every single member of the staff was helpful, warm, and highly professional. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them—whether handling special requests or giving local advice, they anticipated our every need with a smile.To top it all off, the restaurants were fantastic. We had incredible dining experiences, from the vibrant, modern Asian-fusion flavors at Mr Nakamoto to the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere and excellent beachside dining at Hyde Beach Cannes. The breakfast buffet was also exceptional, with an attentive team ensuring a perfect start to eachThis is a beautiful, highly recommend

Location is good and garden is nice. Facilities and services are average especially at that price tag. Some simple requests were ignored. Way better options around.

Mondrian Cannes wants to play in the top league of hotels and has the property and location (and price!) to do so, but there is a lot it can do better still - some things that are just not acceptable for any hotel that wants to claim its five stars. To start with the positive - yes the location is wonderful, the walkway towards the Croissette and outdoors etc. pleasant, the rooms are ample and beautifully done and some of the staff are truly wonderful. But then they manage to irritate visitors with sloppy service (especially at breakfast which as almost comical), just lack of care (see the pic attached of the breakfast buffet area - how difficult would it be to just hide those cables?), and some true indifference by some if the staff (4 times I asked to leave milk capsules in the room, 4 times I got none). For a place with a room rate of over EUR 1,000 it has to get the details right and the manager should have a good chat with some staff who seem truly miserable.

Hotel facilities, rooms, service staff, restaurants all excellent and worthy of the 5-star rating. Hyde Beach, where Mondrian guests receive preferential treatment, was also first rate - beach club and restaurant (where we had both lunch and dinner). A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We plan on returning!

Perfect hotel with great rooms, a fresh and delicious breakfast, and excellent service from the staff. The view of the fireworks from the upper floors is absolutely spectacular.
