Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso

We stayed here for a long weekend minimoon, and the hotel surprised us by upgrading our room and decorating it with heart-shaped balloons and rose petals, as well as leaving us a bottle of champagne. It was an incredible way to start our stay! The bed was also unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop was the perfect start to each day, with beautiful views and equally lovely food. I would definitely recommend ordering an omelette. Hotel guests can use the pool free of charge in the mornings, so make sure you take advantage of this. It was completely empty when we visited, meaning we had the pool and jacuzzi overlooking the sea entirely to ourselves. The rooftop bar is also lovely to experience at night, although it gets very busy as it is open to people who are not staying at the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location for walking along the Cannes beachfront, and Ubers are readily available throughout the area. The old town is also just a short walk away and is well worth exploring, with its beautiful cobbled streets and charming atmosphere. We also took a day trip to Monaco, which was just under an hour away by train. A special shoutout to Gabriel who went above and beyond for us on reception. Overall, we had an incredible weekend and a truly memorable minimoon.

I liked the location of the hotel. The room was a good size, separate shower, balcony with very nice view and comfy bed, all very positive. But the negative was the deco is a bit outdated and the breakfast was very disappointing. Not very clean with flies around the cheeses, food not great and some of staff rude.

This review is for the Spa at the Canopy Hilton. Every day we were greeted happily by either Rhita, Angelique, or Ylona. They made us extremely welcome and made sure our visit was relaxing at all times. All staff were the same, but unfortunately I do not know their names. I had two all over body massages whilst staying there by Luca and Iulia who were both professional, caring and kind. The massages were relaxing and soothing leaving me feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. I would definitely recommend a treatment here at the Spa.

They clearly lock the air conditioning. First night it worked great and now we keep calling and calling for someone to check and nobody responds. The pool area is bizarre. Limited to 2 hours a day for kids and we wanted to take a quick photo during the “non kid” hours and they told us we had to leave all our belongings and take off our shoes?? The hotel is a bit run down for the price. I feel like they make up random rules at this hotel. I’ve stayed at the JW which is wayyy nicer with much better service.
