Loved this location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle and highly walkable. Cute little beach across the street to cool off in the heat. Also helped that they have a pool. Fabulous room that was both quiet and comfy with an ocean view. Highly recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU LIKE USING A SWIMMING POOL ON HOLIDAY !!!! this hotel has the most ridiculous pool policy- it only allows guests to use the pool for an hour in the morning or an hour in the evening - i wanted to sit by the pool at 11am and i was told it would be a cost of 40 EURO per person as at this time they classify this as a spa - complete and utter rip off. The rest of the stay was ok but this policy is terrible after paying 400Euro a night. I would definitely stay somewhere else next time

I’ve wanted to stay at the Canopy by Hilton Cannes since it opened, and made a special trip. What a disappointment! To start with the positives; - allowed to check in early - a welcome banana bread (delicious) - well appointed bedroom - amazing views from the rooftop The drawbacks: - the most chaotic checkin ever - 24 mins. 4 staff, only 12 customers - tried to charge extra, clarified I was Hilton Diamond - team member swore. - bathrooms very small and basic, lower quality than a Hilton Hampton - I requested a late checkout and offered to pay for the extension. I was advised by Pauline via email to request this at check-in. At check-in, I spoke with Gabriel, who advised me to enquire the following day. When I followed up shortly after midnight, I was advised to request it in the morning. As a result, the request was repeatedly deferred without any clear decision being made. was ultimately rejected - You can only lie by the pool for 90 minutes and it’s 20 EUR per person. This is not in any marketing materials - truly shocking for a 500 EUR per night hotel - rooftop restaurant; ordered same drink four times and every time served wrong drink. Had dinner reservation, was left in bar and forgotten about. Ordered main course, arrived missing two ingredients. They cooked it again, came missing a different two ingredients. There was zero intervention by a manager or apology. Staff also stood beside me talking in French assuming I didn’t speak the language as they’d interacted with me in English. Very rude. The hotel only tried to resolve things when I was checking out; hollow words too late. I would not recommend and would not stay again

Great location.Rooms are quirky, we had one of the smaller rooms and there is absolutely no storage. No closet and two tiny drawers. Other areas where there could be storage had odd 'artsy' non functional stuff.. Also we were not told that breakfast was included so missed 3 days of very good breakfasts. They also didn't mention that the rooftop pool was available at certain hours without spa payment. Valet parking was also a pain as they only have 3 spots to pull into to drop off which are often full which means you have to drive around and back until a space opens up. In the end we used the train instead. Could be excellent with some room changes and parking changed.
