Reviews for Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso

Not worth the price

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

They clearly lock the air conditioning. First night it worked great and now we keep calling and calling for someone to check and nobody responds. The pool area is bizarre. Limited to 2 hours a day for kids and we wanted to take a quick photo during the “non kid” hours and they told us we had to leave all our belongings and take off our shoes?? The hotel is a bit run down for the price. I feel like they make up random rules at this hotel. I’ve stayed at the JW which is wayyy nicer with much better service.

Thanks Diana and Camille

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The reason why I’m putting 4 stars and not 1, it’s because of Diana from from desk and Camille from guest relationship, I had a really bad experience at the breakfast place in 7th floor, around 7:30am in the morning, while I was crying my I months baby and struggling with another bad asking a lady called Melissa to fast bring a baby chair, she kept on ignoring me and doing everything expect bringing a baby chair, I repeated 3 times, she started speaking at a very loud voice that it’s not job and she still bringing stating she is the manager, than finally she got a baby chair, it was very dirty other food from yesterday clearly was there, and her colleague starting cleaning next to me and my baby, while of course it wasn’t the best of hygiene, I decided to leave I went down to complaint, Dian from front desk was very helpful and nice also she reported immediately to camille which she contained the situation even gifted me and my baby gifts.

Perfect Stay in Cannes

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Loved this location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle and highly walkable. Cute little beach across the street to cool off in the heat. Also helped that they have a pool. Fabulous room that was both quiet and comfy with an ocean view. Highly recommend.

THE POOL COSTS EXTRA

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU LIKE USING A SWIMMING POOL ON HOLIDAY !!!! this hotel has the most ridiculous pool policy- it only allows guests to use the pool for an hour in the morning or an hour in the evening - i wanted to sit by the pool at 11am and i was told it would be a cost of 40 EURO per person as at this time they classify this as a spa - complete and utter rip off. The rest of the stay was ok but this policy is terrible after paying 400Euro a night. I would definitely stay somewhere else next time
