Get stay, wonderful service. Food and wine were great. Even though it rained most of the time we relaxed in the library with a glass of wine and caught up on reading or watched the waves come in.

The Stephanie Inn is pricy, but you get excellent views of the beach, sunset, and Haystack Rock. We were greeted with blueberry juice mixed with sparkling wine as a welcome drink. The inclusions are outstanding, like transport to the town center and back. An exceptionally good breakfast is part of the rate, as is the minibar's first fill (a couple of beers, soft drinks, and nibbles). We especially loved the concept of "daily gatherings": a late afternoon aperitivo-style tasting of wines and beers, followed by an evening nightcap service featuring liquors, including some house-made options. Our annex building room had a nice sitting area, but plates, silverware, extra glasses, coffee maker, and water kettle are available only upon request. It would have been more convenient to have these already in the room, or to be asked in advance if we'd like them, since requesting items during the stay always creates some hassle. We would have also appreciated slightly more extensive toiletries (mouthwash, for example) or daily replenishment of bath salts. Bottom line: If you're looking for a tranquil, upscale retreat at Cannon Beach, this is your place. We booked two nights and regretted not having time for a third. A charming bonus: wild bunnies hopping around the property!

🌊 Our Peaceful Getaway at the Stephanie Inn By The Hills We chose to visit the Stephanie Inn as a place to relax, unwind, and reflect. The drive from the Pacific Northwest was uneventful, though at times the winding mountain roads, rough terrain, and limited lighting made it feel a bit daunting. But once we arrived, all that tension melted away. The moment we stepped out of the car, the sound of the rushing ocean soothed our spirits. James reached over and said, “Do you hear that?” I paused and listened — “What?” He smiled, “Exactly — no children, no animals, no phones ringing — just peace.” From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality. They welcomed us back like old friends, meeting us at the door and escorting us to our suite. Even in the wind and rain, the concierge carried our bags with grace and a smile, taking the time to walk us through all the little touches that make the suite such a haven. The next morning, though the storm outside continued, inside was filled with calm, comfort, and warmth. We felt completely safe and cozy despite meteorologists warning visitors to be cautious of sleeper waves. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight — every bite was succulent, opening our palates to a new culinary experience. Each night was peaceful and quiet, and every time we left for a brief walk or outing, we returned to find our space transformed — spotless, refreshed, and inviting (thank you Elizabeth). James especially loved the thoughtful ambiance of the room — how the design brought the beauty of the outdoors inside (even a few friendly ants made an appearance, adding to the home-like charm). I treated myself to a full spa day — a rejuvenating facial with Jordan and a massage with Shawn. Their care was not only professional but deeply intentional and soothing. Every detail of our stay felt catered and personal. This trip reminded us of the importance of stillness, care, and connection. The Stephanie Inn gave us that and more. We can’t wait to make this an annual tradition — same suite, same serenity, same sense of peace. This suite is by far the best! With gratitude, The Hills

We loved our stay here! To start, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful. The view was breathtaking — we had a spectacular vantage point of the ocean and Haystack Rock. It was the perfect place to soak in the natural beauty of the Oregon coast. The amenities included with our room included the chef’s breakfast, which was delicious, the evening wine gathering, which was a lovely touch, and the goodnight cap and turndown service, which added a cozy, thoughtful touch to end the day. The hotel also offered a complimentary car service into town, which was super convenient. Every detail of our stay felt curated with care, which resulted in a remarkable overall experience. I absolutely recommend the Stephanie Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious coastal retreat. Everything was above and beyond fabulous!

We have stayed at Stephanie Inn several times and they have never disappointed us. Beautifully situated along the Oregon coast with views from your room of Haystack Rock, thundering surf and an occasional rabbit. The food is Michelin Star level, the liquor choices are top shelf and the staff is excellent. Give yourself a decadent treat, you will not be disappointed.
