Afternoon tea at Mount Nelson… in the footsteps of Giants that came before us!
What an experience! We were treated like royalty by our server Thuli. What she didn’t know about the hotel and the individual items being served probably wasn’t worth knowing. From our experience, the service industry in South Africa generally excels Britain but she truly couldn’t do enough for you without being overbearing. The food was exquisite and the teas were sublime. Can’t speak highly enough of this experience!

Delicious!!
The afternoon tea was fantastic, each course was delicious with the flavours being well balanced throughout. So much food and a buffet of desserts to add to the experience (if you’ve any room left!) We were well looked after by Thuli who shared her knowledge of the teas and dishes being both professional and friendly. Highly recommend this for anyone in Cape Town.
