Cape Royale Luxury Hotel & Residence

What should have been an amazing experience in Cape Town unfortunately turned into a disappointing one. Upon arriving at the apartment after a long flight, I was informed that my unit was not ready, so I had to leave and find dinner while waiting for access. After travelling, this was far from ideal. In addition, the apartment itself did not match the pictures advertised online and felt highly overrated and overpriced for what was offered. In terms of staff, the only person who treated guests with dignity and respect was the lady at reception. Unfortunately, most of the other staff members I interacted with were rude and unapproachable, particularly the security staff. Communication often felt dismissive and arrogant, as though guests were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. During my stay, my key fob stopped working and when I asked for assistance, I was met with attitude rather than help. On several occasions, I was left waiting outside for someone to resolve the issue because staff were unwilling to assist promptly. Overall, despite paying a significant amount to stay at the property, I did not feel welcomed. This experience fell far below expectations, and I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for accommodation in Cape Town consider other options.

We stayed at Cape Royale via Cape Finest. The hotel is beautifull, the room is very clean, big and Nice. The staff (of CR and Cape finest) are the nicest people. Would strongly advice to anyone!!

Cape Royale is ideally situated: walking distance to the sea front, to CTICC and CBD. Well surrounded by restaurants, bars and supermarkets, and clothing shops. Cape Royale itself is very well served: friendly, helpful doormen; efficient and knowledgeable staff. The apartments themselves are well equipped, clean, spacious, calm and comfortable. Second year we stay here, different apartment, same welcoming feeling. Ideal for a business trip with the self-catering possibility.

We didn’t see our host during our stay then on Friday the 13th the cleaning lady came in and stole a 100 dollars from my handbag. The room was cleaned only once during our stay even after requesting for the room to be cleaned every two days. The service was terrible… am really disappointed in our stay there. Stay away from room 718

The suites run by NIVAR were promoted as 5* luxury The suite it turned out was anything but! Stained bedsheets pillow covers and towels Open packets of food in the cupboards Filthy floors! Beard trimmings or worse left in the bath (pics below) and hair in the kitchen sink! Hairdryer tripped all electrics. So bad we had to leave after two days. The concierge has now blocked me and will not respond
