About the Hotel
The Silo Hotel is a magical space towering above the V&A Waterfront surrounded by the natural wonder of South Africa’s Mother City. The Silo Hotel has been built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex and occupies the six floors above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA). Zeitz MOCAA is a contemporary art museum that rivals the likes of the Tate Modern in London, MoMA in New York and Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid. Zeitz MOCAA is a not-for-profit partnership between the V&A Waterfront and Jochen Zeitz, whose collection forms the Museum’s founding collection.

Private dining incredible experience
We had a private dining room for birthday celebrations. Started with drinks in the rooftop bar & finished with drinks in the library. Fantastic communication from start to finish, great food & drink with lovely staff. An amazing experience in a beautiful setting.

Probably the best five star hotel in Cape Town
The hotel is a treasure chest. The location is great at the V&A waterfront. It is located beside the modern art museum. The staff is outstanding friendly. The food is fantastic. Every room is completely styled with colors and design and art. The views are incredible either to the table mountain or the waterfront - one of the best hotels South Africa.

Perfection-absolutely loved!
This hotel was a 5 star experience from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. Very attentive staff, beautifully decorated rooms for all 3 of our accommodations and the food was wonderful! Each room is curated slightly differently with unique art and furnishings. The staff are absolutely lovely and made our stay just perfect. I highly recommend both restaurants and the view from the rooftop bar is incredible for afternoon coffee or a sunset cocktail. Great location walkable to V&A Waterfront area. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

The Silo Hotel is an absolute masterpiece of design and easily one of the most stunning buildings I have ever stepped into. We booked a spot at The Silo Rooftop for sunset drinks, and it completely blew us away. Being at the highest point of the V&A Waterfront gives you an uninterrupted, 360-degree panoramic view of Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and the entire harbor spread out below you. Lounging alfresco with a masterfully crafted cocktail while the golden hour light hits those iconic, bulging geometric glass windows is an unforgettable visual experience. The vibe is sophisticated, exclusive, and lively, and the service was completely immaculate from the moment we stepped into the elevator. A flawless 5-star bucket-list experience in the city!

Sunset suprise
This was an amazing experience! We went to the hotel for a high tea, a tea tasting, which in itself was some of the best food I have ever tried. Then our hostess took us up to the rooftop bar, where you have a 360-degree view of the Harbour and Cape Town. We were we had sundowners and watched the sun set over the Atlantic
