My masseuse HEMA was above a five star, she was excellent. I have been lucky enough to join in a few spa birthday treats but HEMA was by far the best qualified and best massage I’ve ever had and would definitely return and ask for her specifically again. We then went for our lunch in their restaurant which was included in the spa experience we had booked but it took some time for anyone to notice we were waiting to be seated and even longer to order drinks and food. We had to flag someone down as they were passing ! The mocktails were tiny for £7.00 but were delicious. The tomatoes in the gnocchi vegan meal were dreadful and tasted like they had lighter fluid poured on them which was a very difficult taste to get rid of for the rest of the day. One of my daughters had the same meal and couldn’t eat them so my eldest tried it and had to spit it out as they were so awful and overpowered any other flavour that may have been there. I did say they were dreadful when the waitress asked about our meal but she didn’t seem that bothered by the comment and said ok and walked off. Not quite the five star service I was expecting in the restaurant but definitely 5 stars for the masseuse

We stayed here for an event we were running in the hotel and I must say, it was a much better experience than last time I stayed. The meeting room was pleasant, the food very nice and the staff attentive. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good too. I was a bit disappointed with my hard-poached eggs on my avocado on toast, but the staff happily made me fresh ones when I asked. Location-wise, it is situated in a great spot in Cardiff bay with lots of restaurants and bars. Overall, nice stay

Perfect food with a perfect atmosphere at Tir A Mor. Excellent staff with excellent customer service and friendliness specially from McKenzie. He was very attentive and polite. Water was provided immediately. The place was neat and tidy. The food was attractively presented and delicious. Couldn't fault it all, so 5 stars from me. Can't wait to visit again.

Had the most amazing facial and body scrub by Hemma at the spa. Made the trip truly special and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would recommend her to anybody and I will definitely be back for that full body massage. Thankyou once again

Loved this hotel. We were greeted by an absolute gem of a receptionist who was so friendly and warm. She was fantastic! We went to our room and were very happy with it. The beds were a dream! So comfortable. I booked a last minute massage with Kanchan. I have had massages before but she was so professional and really knows what she is doing. I have to say, it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Highly recommend her. From then on, everything about the hotel was great. If you’re looking for a friendly hotel in Cardiff where the staff go above and beyond this is the one. I will definitely be staying here again.
