The St. David's Hotel

I had the best experience with beav, so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The best massage I have ever had. Honestly would recommend to everyone I know. 10/10 give the lady a raise.

Second visit and it’s fantastic. Staff are amazing and service is restaurant and bar are quick and food is lovely. Breakfast is also amazing. Didn’t use spa on this visit, but used it last time and loved it. Such a good location to walk into Cardiff bay.

My wife bought me (us!) a stay at the St David’s Hotel & Spa as a Christmas gift. We’ve stayed here periodically over the years, and each stay reminds us of our wedding day at the Norwegian Church, across the bay, as well as our wedding night at the Hotel. It’s fair to say we, naturally, have fond memories of the place! We were checked in by Raymond, who was very helpful, and kindly swapped our room so we had a view of the Norwegian Church. Included in my gift was a hot stones massage at the spa. Which was expertly applied by Beth, my therapist. I’ve never had a hot stones massage before, and had always assumed it was a gimmicky treatment where hot stones were pretentiously placed on pressure points or something. How wrong I was! It’s very fair to say that Beth has both fingers of steel as well as a ninja-like skill of applying said hot stones to the knotted and tense areas of your back with a skill I can only think was passed down by some secret Shaolin monk training. That said, she was very attentive to my feedback on both heat of the stones and the level of pressure that was applied. After the treatment session, we had some time in the relaxation room and then went to the pool and spa for some more relaxation time before returning to our room and getting ready for dinner. Cardiff bay has a plethora of eateries that will satisfy most palates as well as budgets. We chose to dine in the hotel’s restaurant Tir a Môr (Land and Sea). We weren’t disappointed. The staff were great, attentive to our needs without loitering, and moved us to a different table without question when requested. I’m a vegetarian, and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. Even though, at the time of writing (Jan 26), the current menu isn’t the same as their website the choices were still both mouth watering and plentiful. I’d wholeheartedly recommend St David’s hotel and Spa. I may be a little biased, but the location, service and experience has always been great whenever we’ve stayed

An annual get together that gets better every year. Always a lovely stay at st David's hotel - excellent value for money. The quality of the rooms and bedding is top notch, views over the waterway and Nespresso coffee machine! All staff are attentive and helpful - Loretta is always such a welcoming face at breakfast! You can easily walk into the bay for food or this year, we stayed and ate in the hotel restaurant - lovely food in a smart but relaxed environment - perfect! The spa is super relaxing - Kanchan gave me a wonderful massage - she adapted and changed my booking to meet the needs of my body - a person-centred approach and not the usual "one size fits all" - thank you so much. Would always recommend and we will be back again soon!

Stayed one night on the spa package and have to say all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. From Raymond (?) on reception who was able to change our room so we had a view of the church we got married in to the restaurant staff who kindly moved us to a requested table. Hema who gave my massage was awesome. Very strong massage that freed up muscles I didn’t know were so knotted. Then the Indian head massage - wow - totally took me to another place. It was delicious. Thank you 🙏
