Solo trip
I had a wonderful solo stay at this hotel. The check-in experience was seamless — David was very welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. He provided me with a room as soon as I got there, earlier than normal check-in hours. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy peaceful morning walks and beautiful sunset views.

We had an amazing stay! Hermione at the front desk was so friendly, set the tone for the stay and made our stay extra special! Thank you! Rooms are comfy and ocean view can't be beat! Eric at Chandler's was nice and friendly, too. Overall the staff really stood out and shined! We didnt get to experience the robot snack delivery seevice, but plan on returning again for a longer stay. Great spot for a beach staycation/vacation!

Favorite hotel ever!
We travel frequently. This is hands down our favorite hotel. Great location, clean, amazing staff. Pool area is super kid friendly. Go across the street to the campground for sunset and wood fired pizza. Not one complaint. If you have a chance to go, you should.

Exceptional location with outstanding service.
Cape Rey is a beautiful property with views of the Pacific from the pool, restaurant and majority of rooms. Front desk staff and managers were courteous professional and very helpful as was the valet staff. Rooms were standard for hotels. Our only negative comment was noise level from room above. We were on second floor and heard every step of the people in room above us. Not sure how you fix that other than thicker carpets. But we still rate the property a 5 star.
