Gorgeous property. Friendly and helpful staff. Big beautiful rooms with lovely views. A winner. I was there for business, but I will definitely be back for pleasure.

The best Hyatt property I have stayed in. Amazing location. Considerate and attentive staff. My third time staying at this property and it is now my only choice when I visit the San Diego area.

I hate to have to write this review as my family and I have had a number of memorable stays at this property over the past few years but it’s no longer the same property and their “customer experience manger” essentially ignored my feedback at checkout. We stayed five nights at this property and had to kill five spiders in our room. Two after we checked in to our room on Sunday night. I killed one on Tuesday night while I tried to use the bathroom and another one on Wednesday night on the ceiling over our bed as my wife and toddler were sleeping. We notified the property on Tuesday and they sent someone out on Wednesday to spray the room but it was a little too late at that point. The wood floor in our room was very sticky and we weren’t sure of the last time that our room received a well needed deep cleaning. The reading light near our bed flickered badly and the bulb or light fixture needed to be replaced. Finally, one of the concierge representative’s incorrectly informed my wife that a kids event was taking place at the tennis court fields instead of the hotel ballroom where it actually happened causing confusion with the hotel shuttle drivers and ultimately wasting our time. At the end of the day I’m writing this review so that hopefully the right person reads it and addresses these issues as this is a hotel that used to essentially be perfect but is now plagued by several missteps.

This is a beautiful property, and it has been my go-to hotel in north San Diego area. I had good experiences with them during my few last visits. However, while most staff were kind, lovely, and professional, the hotel is understaffed and overall quality of service seems to be deteriorating. For example, as a Globalist, I am supposed to get free water bottles during my stay, but no water bottles were given to our rooms, so we called guest services to ask for water. More than 30 minutes later, we did not get them, so I followed up. After further waiting, we received only four small "cans" of water, to only one room. I believe that it was a very basic request, which should have been fulfilled before even we request, and it was not a satisfactory experience as a globalist in "Park Hyatt." I hope that my experience was just an one-time miss, and I hope they bounce back as I generally loved this property.

Management is not responsive after severe discriminatory action by the pool lifeguard is reported. Check-in staff is not well-trained and did not introduce the resort facilities or program at all. Instead, customers are expected to find out yourself or google what to so during their stay
