Lovely hotel albeit somewhat isolated. A place to go for a couple nights rather than a longer stay. Food excellent albeit breakfast poorly managed. Pool great but too few loungers. Great gym.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in May during our 16-day trip through France. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer than two nights! When we booked, the only room type available was a Prestige Room. I was initially concerned it might face the road and be noisy, based on some reviews I’d read beforehand. To our surprise, our room overlooked the hotel’s central courtyard (which was beautiful), but even the street-facing side of the hotel seemed very quiet. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable King-sized bed, a cozy seating area with couch, and a large bathroom. The shower was especially memorable—enormous, with two separate showerheads spaced about three feet apart. You could fit about 6 people in the shower (we didn't :-) )! A unique feature was a small window in the shower that looked out over the vineyards. We were high enough up to enjoy the view without worrying about privacy. It was a charming and unexpected touch. Housekeeping kept the room spotless, and we appreciated the welcome treat we received in celebration of our anniversary—it was a thoughtful gesture. We arrived to the hotel fairly early and our room wasn’t ready. We were hungry and went to the restaurant to eat. However, employees were clearing away the food, as breakfast was about over, but we were still given some small pastry to snack on and they kindly didn’t charge us, which we really appreciated. The hotel is located in a small, peaceful village with just a few homes and an old church—it’s wonderfully quiet. Yet it’s also well-situated for exploring the surrounding region. The concierge gave us excellent recommendations for day trips, and we were able to visit about 10 different towns in just two days. Out of the seven hotels we stayed at during our trip, this was easily one of our favorites. We can’t wait to return someday!

The hotel and location are stunning, rooms are beautiful and spacious and staff is very friendly. The one big downside to this hotel is the breakfast. When I’m in France I expect the best buttery croissants and pain au chocolates of my life, however they only had tiny ones that you can find all over the world. Didn’t taste fresh at all. Besides this, we ordered an omelet but it was like they’ve never made one before. My dad’s omelet was way undercooked, very runny, just raw. We ordered a new one and it took almost 30 minutes for it to arrive. This time the omelet was overcooked, almost burned, and the inside was still undercooked. For me breakfast is very important in an hotel and especially if you pay €800+ per room per night, I expected more.

It is truly 5 stars hotel in the heart of Provence and I really had great experiences here. The highlights are 1-Attentive staffs’ service: They went above and beyond to make our stay become comfortable e.g. warm welcome check-in, valet service, service at the restaurants. 2- Rustic charm with modern comfort: Our room 16 is spacious with comfort bed and Diptyque products. 3- Panoramic terrace and dinner: La Table du Ventoux offers fresh ingredients, tasty food and attentive service. However, you may feel annoy with the flies. Hope the hotel can fix this soon.

We chose this hotel as one of 4 on our journey around France. The location is stunning, perched on the hillside with beautiful scenery. We stayed in room 29 which had the most amazing views. Very large room and bathroom and the furnishings were beautiful. They gym and pool areas were great and the concierge was super helpful, arranging bikes for us and dinner reservations. The downside to such a stunning location are the teams of influencers taking pictures for what seems like hours, squeezing between tables in the restaurant and posing around the pool to get the perfect shot, it’s very irritating. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was great. The service was however very slow, taking an hour to receive appetisers. Once the wine was ordered, it wasn’t once poured which sounds stuffy but when you’re paying top prices, the service should reflect this. The following morning this was acknowledged by the reception staff (without mention by us) and they refunded €80 to our bill which was a great gesture. Overall an amazing place, if you can get over the posers.

We have just returned from our vacation in Europe, which included three-nights at Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave in France. It was in every way all that we expected - the facilities are wonderful, the people are friendly and helpful, and the food was out of this world! Thanks again.

The Hostellerie Crillon de Brave is a wonderful place in Provence, a little out of the usual tourist fare, and exquisite. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade to almost an apartment with views over lavender fields. The restaurant was exquisite, food fabulous and service very friendly and accommodating...

Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave is a beautiful and relatively central place from which to explore northwestern Provence. The Hostellerie itself is well-restored with modern amenities, yet quiet, secluded and full of medieval, old-world charm. Our stay was enchanting.
