Best and only place to stay in Cartagena.
We stayed in May 2026 and the level of service was second to none that I have experienced before. If you are ever in Cartagena this is the only place to stay. The concierge team and the catering team work as a seamless machine; thank you Eduardo, Angelyque, Leonardo and every si gle person on site that was genuine helpful and friendly.

Stunning hotel and location, room for improvement in food/concierge services
Fabulous location, amazing rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast service was a little haphazard and did not get my order correct once despite my partner translating to Spanish. Food was good but not amazing. The hotel arranged a walking tour for us that was outrageously overpriced and mediocre at best, the guide did kept walking ahead of us if we stopped to look at historic sites despite it being a private tour. Concierge was unable to give reasonable advice about nearby beaches except for pushing us to go to the hotels private beach. Would stay again for ambience/location but not impressed with food or concierge services give price.

Phenomenal stay
Our stay at Casa Pestagua exceeded our expectations in every way. Even before we arrived we had excellent help from Karen, one of the wonderful staff members, in planning our itinerary. When we arrived, we were amazed at how all the staff members greeted us by name and that continued throughout our stay. Brando and Leo were exceptional just like Karen. The hotel itself was gorgeous, the food was outstanding and every detail was thoughtfully attended to. Best of all we felt safe and cared for by the entire Casa Pestagua team.
