Our experience at this property was absolutely amazing. From day one, when we arrived a day earlier than our original booking for our honeymoon, the staff were exceptional. They went out of their way to find us a room and made us feel truly welcome and special during such an important time for us. German and Nursiney gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. Nursiney was an absolute angel, solving every issue with ease and helping us book a room for our extra night, extending our stay to two nights. She made us feel at home immediately and never once made us feel like a burden to her or the fantastic team at Casa Pestagua. At the same time as arranging our room, Angelina Rodriguez kindly secured us a reservation at the hotel for their New Year’s Eve dinner and celebration, saving us from having no plans for the evening. The night itself was wonderful, with delicious food, attentive staff, and a fun celebration at midnight. The rooms, along with the attention to detail shown by the staff throughout our stay, made for the perfect end to our honeymoon in South America. We would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.

The hotel itself is stunning, located in the heart of the “Corralito de Piedra”, making it ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, offering a serene retreat after a day of sightseeing. A special mention goes to AniMare, the hotel’s restaurant, a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. The food is exquisite, with flavors that reflect the richness of Cartagena’s culinary heritage. Dining here was a highlight of our stay. There are many great hotels in Cartagena, but Casa Pestagua’s boutique ambiance and meticulous attention to detail elevate it to a league of its own. We have booked Casa Pestagua for a stay of 18 nights and we could enjoy every single moment. Our suite # 300 (Conde de Pestagua) was fantastic, located on the top floor with a large living room, bedroom and a wonderfull spacious bathroom. In the upper floor there is a private large patio and a nice little pool area to relax and enjoy the Caribbean sunsets. Katherine manages the staff in a wonderful way, very attentive but never obtrusive. The food varies and is very tasty and of best quality. The whole staff is always friendly and supportive. The atmosphere is so quiet and beautiful that we got visits daily from various bird species on our sundeck. We can recommend Casa Pestagua to all travellers who like to enjoy pure luxury in Cartagena.

Since we stepped in the hotel it was perfect! Beautiful & charming but most importantly the people that work there make it special. Everyone was so nice and willing to help. The room was beautiful and super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. It was a great experience and would definitely stay there again if we visit Cartagena.
