A Very Special Hotel
Casa Pestagua was a find. I had done the research but still, you never know. In the heart of the busy city, on a major shopping street, it is a quiet refuge. I asked if I could sit down at a table when I checked in and Leonardo the concierge replied “Of course this is your home.” and that was how they treated us. The rooms are beautiful and we had a balcony that overlooked the courtyard . One night there was a band playing beautiful music so we sat on our balcony and listened. The food was excellent including the included breakfasts. I don’t eat gluten and Gladys our lovely waitress would hand me a plate with special bread and say today the chef made this for you from cassava or yuca. Brando another concierge was concerned I hadn’t confirmed my dinner reservation at the hard to get into Celele and kept on us till we did. For my boyfriend’s birthday we took their private boat to the island of Baru where a private beach and lunch were waiting. It is a very special place, one I hope to return to. If you are looking to have a wonderful experience in Cartagena, this is the place. Thank you to everyone who helped make it great.

One of a kind!
Our entire stay was truly extraordinary. From the exceptional service and beautiful rooms to the overall atmosphere of the hotel, everything exceeded our expectations. It has been the best stay we’ve had in a very long time. What made it especially memorable was how the staff made us feel completely at home — as if it were truly our house. A special thank you to German, Brando, and Karen, who were all incredibly warm, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The food was another highlight, particularly the breakfast, which was nothing short of outstanding and deserves the highest praise. All in all, this has been a one-of-a-kind experience we won’t forget.
