Charleston Santa Teresa Cartagena

Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa was the main hotel for our daughter's wedding. Everyone raved about the great food, service, central location and friendly staff. We will definitively return on our next trip to Cartagena.

First time in Cartagena and grateful to be staying here. Reflecting the style and heritage of Colombia, the property was distinct in its authenticity and tastefully decorated. It was in an ideal location and the hotel had all the key amenities we needed. The rooftop pool and restaurant were my favorite features! The breakfasts every morning were fabulous and we had a lot of enjoyment having a night cap in the lobby bar. All the staff were very eager to help and immediately available. The rooms were clean and modern. Did notice a bit of construction and upgrades happening but that didn’t interfere with our stay. I thought the location was excellent and it was very easy to walk everywhere within the walled city. My only suggestion is I wish more of the staff could speak English more effectively.

The Charleston Santa Teresa is a great hotel. It has a very good location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is excellent. The only downside is that it was a little noisy at some points. But other than that, it is a great option in Cartagena.

Smooth, sophisticated without being haughty. You can tell it’s a special spot when Colombians dine there. Never rushed. Pool up top was wonderful and had it to myself mostly. Cartagena is all about colors and the brushed blues of my room melted into the blue sky beyond. Can’t beat that.

It was my first visit to Cartagena, and throughout our time at the hotel, I felt safe, comfortable, and truly well cared for. The experience was so impressive that I’ve already been recommending this hotel widely, and we hope to return for future celebrations. The staff made every detail seamless, from coordinating excursions to assisting us when our flight was unexpectedly canceled. The reception team was incredibly kind and understanding, and the organization of transportation and every aspect of our stay was impeccable. The pool, restaurant, and premises were always clean and beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, making the entire experience unforgettable.
