Definitely must stay here
Excellent hotel. Gracious staff that actually care. The room was absolutely spotless. The maid was amazing. The concierge was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to accommodate us. The breakfast was top notch and you cannot beat the location. Just a short walk to the pier where all the tour ships depart. I highly recommend. The only flaw was a dripping air vent near the elevator which is in need of repair.

Wedding Delight
Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa was the main hotel for our daughter's wedding. Everyone raved about the great food, service, central location and friendly staff. We will definitively return on our next trip to Cartagena.

Ideal location and premium features!
First time in Cartagena and grateful to be staying here. Reflecting the style and heritage of Colombia, the property was distinct in its authenticity and tastefully decorated. It was in an ideal location and the hotel had all the key amenities we needed. The rooftop pool and restaurant were my favorite features! The breakfasts every morning were fabulous and we had a lot of enjoyment having a night cap in the lobby bar. All the staff were very eager to help and immediately available. The rooms were clean and modern. Did notice a bit of construction and upgrades happening but that didn’t interfere with our stay. I thought the location was excellent and it was very easy to walk everywhere within the walled city. My only suggestion is I wish more of the staff could speak English more effectively.
