Hotel Casa San Agustin

This was a trip of a lifetime. Traveled with family and friends to celebrate a big birthday. The staff was amazing from the recommendations from concierge team to the resturant and pool staff, absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back

San Agustin is one of my favorite hotels in the world. The atmosphere, staff, facilities are some of the best! We stayed in a Villa that had two floors and two bathrooms; I could live in that Villa. Orlando from the restaurant staff was the kindest and sweetest waiter (i.e. taking the time to explain on the Colombia ingredients). I would highly recommend!

From the second we touched down in Cartagena Casa San Agustin made sure we felt at home. Every detail that we didn’t even think of was catered to. The hotel is exceptional and incredibly beautiful. You can tell how much they care for the hotel as they have done an incredible job preserving the history. Every person that works there is so kind and thoughtful and went the extra mile. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made sure we felt celebrated every day. Estefanie at the front desk was truly a gift!! If you can stay here I Couldn’t recommend it more. The beds were so Comfortable everything was so clean. The hotel restaurant was also spectacular - we went twice for dinner we loved it that much. Upon check out they did a sweep of our room to ensure we didn’t leave anything and turns out we did and they made sure to bring it to us before we fully departed. Truly some of the best service.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It is located in a beautiful colonial building in the heart of Cartagena's walled city. Incredibly beautiful, immaculately maintained, and staff that makes you feel warm and welcomed. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was absolutely exceptional. I specifically want to thank Estefany for her wonderful hospitality giving us a tour of the hotel upon arrival and coordinating transportation during a very busy weekend in Cartagena (Ironman Triathlon). I also forgot an item upon checkout and they went above and beyond to get it back to me before departure. This hotel rivals any of the best luxury brands around the world such as Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, and is centrally located in such a beautiful city. I love Cartagena and when I return, will only stay here.

One of the most exceptional hotel stays I have experienced. Having stayed at some of the highest rated hotels across the world including many Leading Hotels of the World, I can say without hesitation that this is in the highest tier, and may be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. With respect of the hotel itself, it is absolutely beautiful. Understated luxury at its finest. A beautiful, historic, charming, and truly special place to spend your time in Cartagena. Very romantic but also friendly to families. From the Frette linens, to the Ortigia bath products, everything is truly of the highest quality with incredible attention to detail. The hotel is located in the ideal part of the old town, on a quieter block. We went for a ride on the complimentary bikes as well which is an amazing way to explore the town. The included breakfast at Alma is phenomenal - we unfortunately did not have time to enjoy dinner there, but imagine that the quality is just as impressive. The second floor honour bar with daily complimentary tea time and snacks is a very nice touch. The service however is what makes this hotel truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, Kathrine, Stefani, Jaime, Nelson, Dagmar, Yanelis, Carlos, and the rest of the front desk and staff took care of our every need and more. The service here is truly refined - always one step ahead, anticipating not only what we might need but thinking of ways to make our experience special. Whenever something came up - a question or a request - they went above and beyond. The housekeeping staff - Lili, Diocelin, Milaidis, Juana, Monica, Katia - are also incredible. Our room was always presented in the most beautiful and pristine condition. If I could give this hotel an 11/10, I would! No notes!
