Hotel Casa San Agustin

It was wonderful! The staff is incredible, food, service, and accommodations too. Felt very taken care of and everyone was so warm & welcoming. Rooms were great, showers had incredible water pressure. Little touches like turn down service, welcome drinks, daily tea, all enjoyable. A few notable staff, Felix, Yanelis, Doris and honestly everyone we came across, so lovely and hospitable. Perfectly located to everything. Felt safe the entire time and easy to get around. Daily breakfast is wonderful too.

Casa San Augustin is a magical little oasis in the middle of the charming Old City of Cartagena. It’s a gem of a hotel with a very friendly and attentive staff, including Katherine, Andreij, Lennin and Stefani, who took care of us so well. Because of its great location we walked everywhere - to restaurants and shops, street fairs and cathedrals. We recommend Casa San Augustin to anyone needing an elegant and personal touch.

Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end - from Paola’s welcome at check-in to Andrew’s assistance when we left. Casa San Agustin is perfectly located, close to the city wall, historic sites, dining and shopping. In the evenings, we enjoyed acoustic music with dinner at their Michelin-starred restaurant, and the accommodations were gracious and refined without being at all stiltedly posh. Incredibly romantic! We were sorry to leave and look forward to a return. Go!

Terrific location in old time Cartagena, a few minutes walk to the historic wall for sunsets, all the churches and little parks and the waterfront for boats to the islands. San Augustin hotel embodies stunning historic architecture and decor with very modern amenities - solid AC, rooms large and comfortable bed. The pool is a welcome respite from the heat of the city. There’s a rooftop for stargazing and several areas for just hanging out. The food is really outstanding served in a restaurant with both a courtyard area to enjoy excellent live music most nights or indoors. There’s a dish called coco woods ceviche that we ordered every time we ate here and now I’m spoiled forever. It combines fresh seafood in coconut milk and fresh pieces of coconut. People are friendly all over Colombia and Cartagena specifically and the staff here really take it to the next level.

This hotel is truly great. Such a wonderful experience from the time we checked in till we unfortunately had to leave. Highly recommend it.
