Incredible, serene oasis in a great location within the walled city. Everything about the hotel was perfect- the architecture, the intimacy, the staff, the food. We got a room upgrade that was spectacular! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special- Katherine and Estephanie were wonderful! The room was spotlessly clean. The restaurant (Alma) was romantic and the food delicious! What an amazing value for such a special place. Highly recommend!

San Augustin is a special place. Beautiful and tasteful. Far more it is defined by the staff. The true joy of working there and together radiates an atmosphere that I have not found on any of my many travels. Amanda & Kevin, amazing mixologists at the bar with a smile. Dagmar at the front desk. The ever courteous and old school charm of Lizardo. Orlando and Olivia who greeted us with a warm smile every time. I hope the owner of this fabulous establishment gets to read this. He is blessed to have such staff that carry his brand with passion and truly love their jobs. It was home away from home. Paola and Estafany were among the amazing staff that made our stay incredible special! Alma restaurant was also spectacular as well as the private island. Absolutely worth it! It’s the essence of Cartagena elegance and style
