Hotel Casa San Agustin - Zen like experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

What a magnificent, amazing historical hotel located in the heart of it all. From the moment you enter the hotel you are giving the best attention and service. The hotel and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the pool area calm, zen, the aromas surrounded the common areas unforgettable, the rooms super comfortable and filled with wonderful details to make your stay feel like you are one of the royal family. The restaurant delicious food, and the tireless staff were so kind, pleasant and always ready to assist you with any request. Can’t say enough good thing. Simply grateful for our stay there!

Beautiful gem in the heart of walled city Cartagena, staff are friendly and their attention to detail made our stay a pleasant one. Clean property, spacious, fridge always stocked, a lovely pool to cool off. Dinner at Alma restaurant is a must.

Unforgettable Stay in Cartagena – Perfect for Families!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We had an amazing time in Cartagena and our stay at this hotel made it even more special. The property is absolutely beautiful, with elegant decor, warm lighting, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our two-bedroom, two-floor suite was perfect for our family of four—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The on-site restaurant was excellent, serving delicious meals that even our picky eaters enjoyed. Afternoon tea was a delightful touch that made us feel pampered every day. The pool was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing swim after exploring the city. And the location couldn’t be better—central, safe, and within walking distance to so many of Cartagena’s top attractions. We would absolutely return and recommend this gem to anyone visiting Cartagena—especially families!

Highly recommended in Cartagena

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel is in a perfect location and service is excellent. Our junior suite (room 201) included a completely separate room with sofa, dining table and television. It was on the second floor in the rear and was very quiet. Lots of counter space in the bathroom and exceptional space in the closets. The only (minor) issues were that the bedroom could use more lighting and be aware that they automatically add a 10% "service charge alojamiento" as a room tip on the final bill (in addition to tips for meals). We normally leave a cash tip for the room but felt that 10% was excessive and it was reduced at our request. We've been to Colombia twice and stayed in a number of luxury accommodations; other places simply provide a "tip" box without automatically adding it to the bill.
