GOOD stuff: Food overall is tasty, varied and fresh, some excellent desserts. Hardworking and pleasant staff; worth mentioning all the efforts made by staff members such as Valentina, Gemina, Katerina, and Rikelmen. Staff maintains rooms cleaned, and NO bugs inside the rooms. Beach is overall good, albeit full of vendors and make do tents that block the beach. Excellent travel services by the lobby. Excellent capuccinos prepared at the bar by the lobby. Plantain chips and popcorn - good additions to lunch snacks. BAD stuff: I contacted reservations and asked for a first floor room, and was sent to the last room in the 3rd floor. We got there so tired and late, I did not complain. Upon arrival, our room did not have safety box, no bath towels, no hair dryer, no chair in balcony. I asked reception/front desk staff all addressed on day two. Dinning room tables have no salt or pepper shakers, no sugar, and no small spoons for dessert. although lots of salt and pepper shakers,a nd sugar on the BAR counter where staff located. Nice white and red wine, but amount served is hardly 3-4 ounces, so one have to ask for more, and it is hard to get more as staff overall very pleasant but NOT enough servers to attend all customers. Lots of flies on the bread and on top of the food, so there a bit concerned about food safety. Internet in rooms , pool and other areas of hotel not so good , no internet 🛜 at the bottom of beach club. Lobby washroom and by restaurant have a very strong air deodorizer wiht pungant perfume which made impossible for me to use washroom by the lobby due to my allergic reaction to such items. I can’t imagine how a person with asthma would do. Beach 🏖️ club is not that good as plastic chairs have no cushions, beach club has a wall to one side that covers all fresh air from beach, then walk to the beach is blocked by make do bars with lots of cheap materials that do not allow people to walk fully on the beach 🏖️ and blocking all fresh air from the sea - very sad Staff are very pleasant people all around, but for three consecutive days we had nobody asked if we would like water, coffee or drinks with our meals. Most staff are very busy picking up dishes, drying dishes or other duties. Building needs a lot of repairs, construction beside it and road to the hotel not good, so all these are detrimental to the hotel. Internet in rooms , pool and other areas of hotel not so good and no internet 🛜 at the bottom of beach club. Definitely needs a repeater. NO signage for restaurants/washrooms or bars. NO signage for the food - so a guess to what you are going to eat. Bread tasteless

It was okay overall. The hotel is very nice, and the staff were always great and accommodating. However, it needs some work. During my stay, only one elevator was working, and one of the pool rails felt shaky and unsafe. A big improvement would be labeling the food during meal times, as some guests have allergies and it’s hard to tell what sauce or meat is in a dish—only the juices were labeled. If they did this, guests could enjoy their meals without concern, and the hotel would be worthy of a 5-star rating. I gave it a 4 because of the amazing staff, the best cocktails ever, and a clean, well-supplied room, even though there was no hair dryer provided. I didn’t ask for one since I had my own.

Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff, but Maintenance Needed

I would rate this hotel as a 3-star property. The hotel requires physical maintenance and upgrades. There are several broken or worn areas, and the garbage bins in the rooms are rusted. The shower area design lacks privacy, which can be uncomfortable when sharing a room. Our room also had a slight damp smell. That said, the rooms are very large, as are the beds, and they were cleaned daily to a good standard. Some furniture, particularly chairs, should be checked and maintained more regularly. The food is actually quite good for a buffet. The chefs are lovely, and there is usually steak and fish available. However, the snack options are limited, and while the chips are very tasty, they tend to run out quickly and are not always replenished. There is no private beach, and the area is heavily controlled by vendors. In addition, there are no safe or pleasant areas to walk around the hotel. The road leading to the hotel is unpaved, and there are visible sewage issues, which negatively affect the overall experience. Most importantly, the staff were consistently kind, friendly, and doing their best. The service was genuinely warm and welcoming, and this made a big difference to our stay. Overall, this is a good hotel with great service, but guests should be realistic about their expectations. It is not a 4- or 5-star hotel, and should be booked with that in mind.

Déception. Rénovations Not almost finished Beach terrible accès minimum. And one morning a lot of dead fishs on thebeach Colombian hotel for colombians tourists Foods is almost colombian and mexican nothing so international Área in construction and a bit far from the centro Carthagene It is a beginning I Hope hopefully the personal is wonderfull !!!!!
