Nestled amidst the dramatic peaks of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dolomite mountains, COMO Alpina Dolomites is a sanctuary of luxury and tranquility. This exquisite alpine retreat blends contemporary design with traditional mountain charm, offering guests an unparalleled experience of comfort, wellness, and natural beauty. Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, COMO Alpina Dolomites promises an unforgettable stay. The ski in and ski out hotel is situated in the Alpe di Siusi region, the largest high-altitude alpine meadow in Europe. The property’s prime location offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and lush meadows, which transform into a winter wonderland during the colder months. With direct access to ski slopes in winter and hiking and biking trails in summer, it is the ideal base for exploring the natural wonders of the Dolomites. The hotel’s architectural design harmoniously integrates with the surrounding landscape, using natural materials such as wood and stone to reflect the region’s aesthetic while maintaining a modern elegance. Floor-to-ceiling windows in public spaces and rooms frame the spectacular views, ensuring guests remain connected to the beauty of the outdoors throughout their stay. All 60 rooms and suites combine soft colours with quality furnishings finessed by South Tyrol's traditional artisans. Each room offers sweeping views of the Dolomites range, its alpine meadows and jagged peaks.

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in. It was excellent and beautiful. The restraunts and bar were also wonderful. The pool was relaxing and views stunning. Only issue was it was 1. The most expensive place we stayed in Italy and 2. Somehow was the only place without AC during sweltering heat. Still, hard not to recommend for the Dolomites.

The stunning beauty of the surrounding area, combined with the luxurious rooms and spa facilities, was incredibly unique and enjoyable. The staff, from the front desk and concierge, to the restaurants, bars, and spa were top-notch. Breakfast each morning was sumptuous, and all of our meals were filled with locally sourced food and wine options. The massage I had with Simone was one of the top 5 I've ever had, and the spa facilities were excellent.

As a seasoned traveler, who has stayed at Como properties before, I must admit that I was disappointed by my recent stay at Como Alpina. While the images and closed road rules suggest a very private experience, note that the ski gondola terminus station is literally right next to the hotel, dumping hundreds of tourists everyday in the summer. Ski hotels also don't have air conditioning so you need to keep your outside door open during the day and at night, which is unfortunate since the noise of the ski lift machinery runs from about 7:30 am to 7 pm every day. The food at the Como was also underwhelming with strange menu combinations which often attempted to blend Italian and German cuisine, which is not a good combination. While the location of the hotel is in many respects ideal, there are many other high end hotels in the Dolomites that are much more intimate, with better value. Given the nearly $1000 a night rate, which did not include dinner, I would recommend other options.

An exquisite resort, complete with extraordinary mountain views, attentive staff, impeccably clean + comfortable accommodations, and outstanding restaurant options. Bonus: happy cows grazing in a nearby pasture; a heavenly spa with water beds, saunas, and much more; welcome goodie bags for children; billiards, telescopes, and the most fun indoor-outdoor pool I’ve yet to encounter! It’s very hard to leave this place. And when you do, you’ll want to return as soon as possible. Thank you to the entire team for making our 3 nights there so special!

The hotel staff was amazing. The setting is impossible to beat - nestled in a broad curve of the mountains under which there are endless rolling fields. We’re so glad we got to spend some time here, and can’t wait to come back!
