Reviews for Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Our three generation family just returned from a fabulous week at Windjammer Landing! Our four bedroom villa (406) had a gorgeous view, full size pool, plenty of space and an attentive butler service that took care of all of our dinner reservations, excursion requests and so much more! Marcus, Dunstan, Bridget and Liam handled all of our needs! The shuttle service runs 24/7 so you need not worry about getting around the resort once you arrive. The resort handled our airport shuttle service which was exceptional with luxury vehicles stocked with Piton beer, cold water and snacks. The excursions arranged by WJL were wonderful - the day cruise included snorkeling and lunch and opportunity to see the Pitons up close. The eight-line zip line excursion is the way to go with kids (ours were 8 and 10) as the guides handle all of the gear and braking for everyone (the 11-line trip was further away - 90 minutes vs 45 minutes - and you have to brake yourself!). The All Inclusive Plan was essential, lots of good restaurant choices and decent selections of alcohol, wine, cocktails (and cocktails for the kids) - loved Upper Deck Steakhouse and Dragonfly, although all the other choices are equally as enjoyable. Email communication with the staff to pre-arrange excursions, spa days and dinner reservations was easy and the bill was itemized and reviewed prior to check out to our satisfaction. For the price, view, resort amenities, Windjammer Landing was five-star!!

Amazing family vacation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We just came back from this resort in St Lucia. It was An amazing unforgettable vacation, from the beautiful accommodation to the amazing people that served us every day, I loved every minute of it. I didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back. One of our favorite waitresses was @Lían, she was so sweet, personable and attentive. Also the waiters on the beach, @Junior and @Nate were amazing to help us have an amazing relaxed day on the beach. I think the resort can do better with the food menu options like at Dragonfly and Don restaurants but I loved seeing those amazing people so helpful and accommodating. We also loved @Wendy at the Italian restaurant. Overall it was an amazing experience and the resort, rooms, cleanliness, was wonderful! Thanks to all the staff for making our vacation unforgettable!

Best Holiday of 2025

Anthony, Howard, Junior, chad helping us conquer water sports. Matthew, Joshua who served us welcomingly with lots of laughs at The steakhouse. And Janai my server who always checked on me and brought delicious food pool-side. Nothing can go wrong when at windjammer. I do recommend going all inclusive as the motorised water sports were the highlights of our holiday. Despite going during the hurricane season we only saw a glimpse of rain.

Beautiful Windjammer resort!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We spent 12 nights at the WindJammer and it was a lovely holiday. The greeting is wonderful - they welcome you with your family name, give you a cold towel and of course a glass of lovely rum! We met Leesa upon arrival, she was so welcoming and lovely! I warmed to her straight away. She then said we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa - it was beautiful! Stunning views. We also had a beautiful welcome pack from windjammer & Kuoni (our travel agent). What a lovely touch! We were given an ambassador Kavel but didn’t really see much of her, she would message us but we ended up using the lovely Leesa for all of our needs. I had a massage there with Shanna - she was so good! We are big foodies, we found the food slightly disappointing. You had to wait a long time, and one time 3 of the 4 dishes came out cold. These soon got replaced and we were given a bottle of wine as compensation. We were on the all inclusive plan. I also asked for an egg with my Caesar salad and was told I’d have to wait a while for it. My husband and sons were having starters, I wasn’t, so said, if it’s cooked now, it will be ready by the time our main comes. It seemed it was too much to ask. Italian restaurant was closed for refurb, so it was moved to dragonfly. Food was good. The garlic naan in masala was tasty give that a try, the other Indian food was ok, but we do it well in the uk so it’s a tough call. Not very spicy. Everything is pricey there - we are thankful we were on the all inclusive plan. We also had a presentation with Lisa re timeshare (she is a lovely person). The prices for food & drinks on the resort are too expensive for us to consider a timeshare there. We were roughly spending USD900 a day on drinks & food - we like our cocktails! I think windjammer needs to lower the prices and your timeshare guests would eat & drink there more. I don’t want to be shopping outside resort & cooking on my holiday. Restaurants outside are cheaper but cab prices are pricey to get there. We used Capitan Dell for private speed boat hire. I spoke to Kevin and Marcus on the beach who arranged it all. Very good! Must see the pitons. A mention for the employees- they work so hard but ones that stood out to me and went the extra mile/made our holiday were Leesa - she’s an asset to you! Keep smiling & hope you get more Cadbury’s chocolate from the UK! Maria Newton in the restaurants- she knew our food had come out cold and made out sure we were checked everything was ok in future meals. She had also arrange for champagne & cake to be in our room. She’s a star and should be an ambassador, she’s another asset! Rohan in upper deck, great customer service, great memory of what we ate before. He’s a star too! Shanelle restaurant manager from upper deck was very welcoming too. We had the shuttle bus driver Linnard a few times, he is a great character! Remember to tip the drivers too! Visited the coal pot whilst there - was very nice, highly recommend. Leesa booked a beautiful table for us too. Husband said Waterskiing was fantastic! Two guys at bar 96 are great fun! Remember to ask for grey goose vodka on AI plan, otherwise you get local stuff. I do think the amount that you pay to be there - all the drinks should be high end/branded drinks. You can’t have a bottle of wine at dinner unless you pay for it - never had this before in AI and was a let down for us. You need to rectify this. Entertainment was good of an evening, great singers! Would be great to expand the seating area as not many seats, and when it rains, everyone huddled around the bar. Refurbed pool is lovely. Not lots of beds, so be quick. Nice touches like bringing water & lens cleaner for your sunglasses. Villa was lovely and clean. Beds were so comfy, we had air con in every room. So much storage. Lovely touches of shampoo & conditioner/body lotion provided. I would have preferred big bath sheets towels as couldn’t wrap towel around me 😂. There are a lot of steps/steep hills, so would hinder if you have a disability. There’s a few shops on site. Coffee station in the morning is wonderful. I miss that banana bread - the best ever! No resort is perfect! I would however recommend the windjammer. We will return. Thank you to the employees for making our holiday and working your butts off. It didn’t go unnoticed. Big love ❤️

Explore the best of St. Lucia @ Windjammer!

Windjammer Landing truly exceeded expectations! From the moment I arrived, the top-notch service stood out—every staff member was professional, attentive, and made me feel completely cared for. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully kept, and provided the perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The beach has seen stunning upgrades since my last visit 10 years ago. It's now more refined, welcoming, and a true slice of paradise with crystal-clear waters and improved lounging areas. The overall vibe of the resort is upscale, yet warm and inviting—ideal for both relaxing and exploring the best of St. Lucia. And let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The Creole buffet was packed with flavor, and the salt-fish jumbo bake was a standout dish I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. From local cuisine to curated resort menus, every meal felt like an experience in its own right. The spa service was Pure Bliss. From the calming ambiance to the skilled therapists, every moment was luxurious and rejuvenating—exactly what I needed. Activities were well-organized and fun, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to an already stellar stay. Windjammer Landing is not just a resort—it’s a destination. Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort, luxury, and authentic island hospitality.
