Amazing Family Spring Break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 hours ago

This was a great resort for multi-generational family vacation. We stayed in one of the villas...clean, well appointed, comfortable beds, plenty of space for everyone. The butler service was amazing! Nage and Marcus were our primary butlers and very attentive and accommodating. They made sure everyone was having a good time. One of our party was injured and they were very helpful in making sure he got around the resort without any issues. Resort is on a hillside, but they have shuttles to get you around the property. Since we were a large party, we made reservations for all of our dinners. Overall, the food was very good at all of the restaurants. We ate at Papa Don's twice for dinner during our stay since it was so good. Beach was clean and plenty of seating for all the guests. Water sports in the afternoon was fun for the kids. The only negative was the sales people on the beach trying to sell you excursions. They only approached us while we were walking to breakfast on the first day and then left us alone the rest of our stay. We had already arranged our excursions through the resort concierge and had great experiences! Highly recommend this resort and can't wait to come back!

Windjammer is a beautiful place to stay where the staff is so polite and welcoming. Special shout out to Rohan the ambassador he was so helpful for my duration, always available to answer any questions and give recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely go back!

Great family resort if you have little kids

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We went the week before Easter, thus our experience may be very different from those who do not go during peak time. We were a family of 4 with an 18 and 14 year old. Pros: - The place is beautiful, and our room, which was the cheapest one I could find on the hillside a 1 bedroom- was wonderful! It had 2 bathrooms and an upstairs and downstairs and outdoor space. We were right in front of papa dons so we walked the hill most of the time. Apparently we got a crappy view- but I saw ocean and birds and beautiful flowers. I was very happy with the room. - the staff is incredible. We loved so many of them- Miles was our driver and took us out to dinners most nights. He even helped us go shopping to get sunglasses. Kellie down by the beach was lovely. I wish I remembered more names! the bartenders, all the staff are great! - I would think if you had kids and they were free and you got a deal on AI- this would be a good deal. - we did not do the AI and instead, went out to dinner and still saved money. Our favorites were Spinnakers, The Naked Fisherman, and a bar for happy hour called keebees. Coal pot was just ok- I think its a bit overrated. - by far our best day was when Captain Dell took us on a private tour. I highly recommend booking this early- he fills up! - our room came with breakfast. It wasn't amazing- your usual buffet, but we would eat around 9:30/10 and really didn't need lunch. We ate early to see the sunsets around 6:30. - we packed wine and vodka and portable cups. We took some of the juices from breakfast for mixers. We went to the grocery store as well. We forgot our cooler though! Bring a cooler if you aren't doing AI. - one or two days, the kids got lunch. It's reasonable- NY prices- so you can get a salad, or nachos or sandwich for $25. - We met people- generally from the UK- who have been going for years. So by all means, this place is loved by many. The island is stunning and it's kind of surreal sitting by the ocean looking at the view. Cons: - the food and drinks are so so expensive. Most people there were doing the AI package- which was $300 per person per day- $1200 for us!!!! I did the math and there was no way we could eat and drink that much with breakfast included. I finally asked people and they said they booked the AI 50% off when they booked and the kids were free. Do yourself a favor and look for the AI deal when you book. If it was say, $125 a day and you have 2 free kids- totally worth it. - ofc there are issues with chairs. It's really a butler issue- some rooms come with butler service and the butlers go down early and one day they moved my stuff. I hope they fix this issue as chairs would go empty all day and we realized that the books and hats being put down was from the butlers. They need to make a rule about those chairs and getting down there by a certain time. - The gym needs work. I went everyday which was great, but the equiptment is very old. They have peletons but only 1 has the attachments to put your foot in. It wasn't a horrible gym- I just recommend new equiptment. - We only went to dinner one night at Dragonfly and it was awful and so $$$. One night the girls made grilled cheese in the room since we had lunch at a resort on an excursion. We also had leftovers one night. If you aren't doing AI, do not eat dinner on the resort. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel for a busy season unless you do the AI package at a hugely discounted rate and don't have to pay for your kids. If you have kids who eat free and get a deal- then I would say go. Anyone would call this place paradise so if you get a deal- go! With the ages of our teens, I think we would have been better at an airbnb.

Great experience

Super comfortable beds. The women in the spa, especially Shanna and Marvelin, were knowledgeable, kind, and I dare say, intuitive when it came down to their massages. I never sleep well unless it’s my own bed, but this place was an exceptio to that rule.

Absolutely Unforgettable Stay at Windjammer, St. Lucia!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

From the moment we arrived at Windjammer in beautiful St. Lucia, we knew we were in for something special. The resort facilities were absolutely top-tier—everything was impeccably maintained, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious yet welcoming. Our room was beyond amazing. Spacious, spotless, and with breathtaking views, it felt like our own private paradise. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it incredibly easy to relax and unwind. The food was truly five-star across the board. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a treat—fresh, flavorful, and served in stunning settings. Whether dining beachside or enjoying a romantic meal at one of the resort’s restaurants, we were always impressed. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. They went above and beyond in every way—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. You can tell they take pride in the resort and in the experience they provide for guests. We can’t wait to return to Windjammer. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, and we’re already counting down the days until we can visit again!
