We’ve spent 10 nights here, as we’ve been in town for business. This place falls so far short of Marriot standards, it is a bit of a joke. The rooms are very plain and unadorned with minimal artwork. Although the beds are fine, the rest of the furniture is very poorly thought out. About a third of our room is entirely unused, with no furniture whatsoever except a little forlorn chair in the corner which would be very uncomfortable to sit in. But the real failure has been with the housekeeping and engineering. We stayed in two rooms during our visit and both had mechanical problems. The first one, no matter what we tried the TV didn’t work. We couldn’t figure out if we were just entirely morons or what. It turned out that the remote was out of batteries. The second room we stayed in has one of those seemingly neat tables between the beds with electrical outlets and charger ports built-in. Unfortunately, none of the built-in chargers or outlets worked. We ended up pulling the table away from the wall, unplugging the lamp and telphone, and plugging our adapters directly into the wall outlet. On the housekeeping side, every single day something would go wrong with the housekeepers. One day they collected all the glassware and didn’t replace it. The next day they didn’t replenish the coffee supplies. Another day they took the used towels and didn’t leave us new ones. One thing I noticed is that they aren’t using maid carts. Instead, they carry kind of a bucket with some minimal supplies as they go room to room. So it is not stocked with any of the consumables that might need to be replenished like toilet paper, tissues, or any of the glassware that might’ve been used the prior night. Whether this is just laziness on the part of the individual housekeepers, a training issue, or language issue I never quite discerned. But it was annoying every single day to have to walk down to the front desk and request whatever our room was missing after the housekeepers completed their visit (and I mention walking down to the front desk, because we had to unplug the phone to use the outlet for our phone and computer chargers).

The pros: -Unlike other reviews, we did not have any problems with our room. Although on the small side, it was clean, no mildew smell or bugs. I did notice something weird blinking a green light at night, but the brightness had been turned down and it didn't disturb my sleep at all. -The restaurant staff was very knowledgeable about food allergies (gluten) and was able to tell us what we could and couldn't eat reliably. -The bar staff was awesome. Shoutout to Juan for making us our espresso martini just the way we like it! -A great location close to Disney, but away from all the craziness of screaming children The cons: -No bell service. The valet when we checked in was great and helped us unload our bags, but we had to bring them up to the room. On checkout, we had no help loading. Not what I would expect from this tier hotel. -The restaurant left a lot to be desired - I felt like I was eating at a Courtyard bar. Dinner was fine, but few enough options that after a few days we went elsewhere cause we had run through what we wanted to (or could) eat on the menu. Breakfast was super bland - you'd be better off going to the Starbucks down the street. -It's a good thing the staff was knowledgeable about food allergies, because the menu was grossly mislabeled. -Toilet paper was not restocked when the room was serviced and we had to ask for more -The biggest dealbreaker...they filled in the pool. Who does that in central Florida?! We discovered this after a walk around town and decided we wanted to go jump in and...it wasn't there. Now, I guess that's on us since we hadn't been since it was The Bohemian and didn't check, but I didn't think "fully renovated" in the tagline would include "got rid of the one thing that makes Orlando humidity survivable." Overall, this was not an Autograph/Premium level hotel to me (which is something I'm willing to look depending on location and price...was the Delta Utica a top tier experience? No, but it was like $100 a night, and it's in Utica). In a vacation/resort destination where it's easy to go elsewhere at the same price point for much better amenities, this hotel is a hard sell. I wanted to like it, but unless the pool is rebuilt and the restaurant improved, I don't see myself staying here again.

This is a beautiful hotel with great amenities, elegant decor and superb service. We are currently here for 10 days and enjoying every moment. The staff are friendly and efficient. We have a room with a balcony which affords us views of the lake and spectacular sunrises. The range of food available at the bar and in the dining room is excellent. Situated in such a pretty town just adds to the experience. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing Floridian break!👌

This is a beautiful lodge in the heart of the idyllic central Florida oasis of Celebration. The rooms were spacious and well furnished, but hopefully you won’t be assigned to my third floor room that reeked of mildew - the smell is burned into my nostrils it was so strong. Not sure if directly related, but woke up with terrible allergy symptoms. I would have complained to front desk but arrived extremely late and had to scurry out the next morning. It’s unfortunate that I won’t return because it’s a beautiful property in a perfect location.

This is not an Autograph Collection level hotel. The hotel's location is great. Certain members of the staff are great (valet, bar staff, restaurant staff). But decisions have been made in maintenance, staffing levels, and in the choice of desk staff at this location that are not in keeping with other Autograph level hotels. As a result, we way overpaid for a room that had a clear mildew smell, on a floor that was kept in the 50 degree range in the heart of winter. The bar technically stayed open until the posted time but management has them shutting the place down 90 minutes early, so the staff is tasked moving bottles out and closing the bar while it is still open. There is no coffee available in the lobby until the restaurant opens. The desk staff is either indifferent at best (sitting in the office) or nearly hostile at worst (barely gave me permission to leave bags in lobby at checkout while we waited for the car). On the day before checkout when I went to verify online that I had indeed booked at an Autograph-level Marriott I found an online price $150 per night cheaper than what I had paid. I mentioned this to the hotel in my review and to date have heard nothing in terms of resolution (on this or on any other feedback I gave). By the way, Marriott claims that if you book on Bonvoy you have the guaranteed lowest rates. I no longer believe this. Is the hotel ok? Yes. It is worth $300+ a night? No. Is it an Autograph level hotel? They claim it is but it in no way matches nearly every other Autograph level hotel we have stayed in. Avoid this one. You can thank me later.

“Excellent location. Fun to walk around the village area and around the lake and the bar is the happening place at night. Since it is not in the Disney complex it is quieter with less kids. Beautiful rooms. Perfect for a couple.”
