Melia Orlando Celebration

We booked this hotel on a recommendation from a friend but honestly it was a huge let down. The room we had was extremely dated. The shower handle fell off in my hand. The cable didn’t work. The WiFi was spotting. They sent me several emails asking me to check in early and then when we did we never heard from them again even when it was time to check in. When we went to check in for the key at 4pm our room still wasn’t ready and housekeeping seemed annoyed when we asked when it would be. The only plus was the front desk staff was very nice and the restaurant was good. Otherwise it seemed very overpriced and we won’t be back. Don’t forget earplugs! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the next room.

Hotel needs remodeling and updating to modern technology. Restaurant needs more options and a better check inn lobby.

The room was very dirty and damaged from the door to the furniture. The bathroom was also kinda dirty.

For the price I expected more. Our room wasnt ready at checking. So then we went to the restaurant..it was very good. The elevators were scary to ride in...clicking and banging. We barely could get our balcony door open and nothing to use to wash in the kitchen

Location was convenient, bed was comfy. Really, really noisy. Loud music playing by the pool area until 11:00pm. Bounce house was located just outside our room and they started filling that up early morning and then had it running all day. The dog in the room next barked constantly. All other furniture other than the main bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast at the Wilson was pretty meh. Our package included a complimentary 3:00pm check out. Nowhere did it say subject to availability. We were surprised to come back from brunch and found ourselves locked out. Spoke to the front desk and they said they could let us have our room until noon and that they usually honor the late checkout but couldn’t today. Again, no where did it say subject to availability. Also, the shuttle to theme parks is definitely not convenient. The times don’t allow you to get there early or stay late. Overall, Melia Celebration just mid. We definitely won’t be staying here again.
