Melia Orlando Celebration

Let's start by saying the issue started at check in :( My boyfriend had gone to visit his daughter and had made a reservation and was charged in full . Upon arrival they charged him AGAIN supposedly to use the amenities. WHAT ?? Isn't that included with every hotel on earth ? Not to mention that they had already charged him . He requests a manager and Valerie comes along only to give him an ATTITUDE that he has not paid in full and that is why they charged him , she goes on to say that IF he can provide proof of payment she will refund him ( which is ridiculous , don't have computer records ? ) he then find the online receipt with the full amount charged so she says : oh you did pay . Duhhh , first of all why don't you have a better computer system that actually provides proper information in regard to the guest ? Second , can we work on the nasty attitude ? People on vacation are expecting a welcome and not an attitude!!!! Either train the staff for better hospitality or hire someone more competent for the job . Let's see what other fresh hell awaits him in the next few days , I will come back for an update as I receive them .

Furniture is dated and uncomfortable,cheap medal bed frames and headboards that aren’t put together probably and seem cheap and flimsy. Cleaning not up to par

The Melia' Orlando Celebration never, I repeat, never fails in Customer Service. All employees give over 100% Service to their guests. They always have a Good Morning/Evening on their lips, and broad smiles when greeting you. This in at least my 10th stay here, and will be returning. Bravo Melia'

The staff went out of their way to make this a memorable experience as we celebrated big birthdays for myself and my son. Special mention to Carla and Jennifer and the management team. They helped with Disney park tickets, a broken down car hire and always had a smile! The Level was also a great experience!

Me and boyfriend took a trip to Orlando and I came across this via tiktok. At first I thought it was a scam because my cards to pay online where not working (it might just be a website issue) but i ended up clicking the pay at the desk option. It was worth all of it we had the VIP experience it was very enjoyable and affordable. Next time we come to Orlando we will be staying here. It is not in the immediate Orlando area more towards Kissimmee but it is close to the theme parks. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and always had a smile on their face.
