Hotel L'Heliopic Sweet & Spa

Visited with a friend for a beginners' skiing trip. Hotel is lovely and cosy with lots of cute extras - hot wine and crepes every afternoon, popcorn machine, kids' area with sweets and drinks and free coffee machine for guests. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located for Aguille de Midi cable car and Chamonix Sud bus stop to the slopes. Ski shop is in the hotel for ski gear rental. The spa and massage was a highlight. And the friendly staff. Would recommend for families as well as solo travellers.

Love the Heliopic. Our second visit and will return again. Staff are friendly and helpful, the spa is very relaxing ( thank goodness it is limited to adult only from the late afternoon as we go there to relax and chill out) , on site restaurants are excellent, free on tap water and hot chocolate very much appreciated and the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Location is a 5 minute walk to ski bus stop and a short stroll to centre of town.

Great hotel and facilities although they did run out of beer one night in the bar !!!! Rooms adequate and cleaned everyday Location ok. Chamonix one of those places whereby you need to grab a bus to the slopes but we paid for cabs

First time in Chamonix. Really enjoyed this hotel. Super friendly staff. Nice room rooms. Great location. Just a couple of blocks from all the action in the city center. The breakfast buffet is really good and we really liked the bar area to hangout and grab a drink. There’s a nice ski shop inside the hotel. The bus stop to Brevent is right outside the hotel.

Terrible SPA..shame to add it to the name..only 4 people can enjoy hanging “egg-shapedr” rattans chairs, 1 person can lay down..and the rest must sit like soldiers w/o fire promised on all pictures..we picked it only for the SPA and got so disappointed..Standard rooms are also far from chalet style we are used to n Chamonix 4-star hotels..not worth it for the price..
