Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The facilities were excellent, and every restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food was consistently delicious and of a very high standard, making each meal a memorable experience. What made our stay even more special was the incredible hospitality of the staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We were especially touched by how sincerely they celebrated both my husband’s and my son’s birthdays. Their kindness made us feel truly valued and created memories our family will cherish. If we return to the Champagne region, we would happily choose to stay here again. The only disappointment was that, despite booking several months in advance, my son’s tennis lesson was unfortunately not arranged. As a result, my husband and I had to miss the spa treatment we had reserved, which was a shame. I also think it would be wonderful if there were more activities and programs for children, allowing parents to enjoy some relaxing time as well. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all of the valet and parking staff. They were the first people to welcome us and the last to say goodbye, and their warmth and kindness made both the beginning and the end of our stay especially pleasant. A special thank you to the staff member who took the time to play chess with my son. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it meant so much to our family. His kindness made our son’s stay even more memorable.

Can’t fault the facilities but for a 5 star+ hotel I think there is a lack of attention to detail. For example I would not expect to pour my own wine at dinner or wait 25 mins for a drink at the bar. Just not very slick

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Royal Champagne was one of the highlights of our time in France. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views over the Champagne vineyards that make it difficult to leave the terrace. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, but what truly sets Royal Champagne apart is how well the hotel balances luxury with a sense of place. Every detail feels connected to the surrounding region. The spa, the grounds, the food, and the overall atmosphere created an experience that felt both relaxing and memorable. It was the perfect base for exploring Champagne and equally enjoyable to simply stay and enjoy the property. We’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and Royal Champagne stands out as one of our favorites. We would return without hesitation.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Junior Suite on the second floor, with a balcony overlooking the charming village of Champillon. The room was spacious with a sophisticated decor. We requested airport transfer. After being picked up at the airport, we headed directly to Champagne. A welcome glass of champagne set the tone immediately. The official check in time was 4:00pm, but our room was ready after lunch at Le Bellevue. Food was delicious and it was particularly enjoyable with the gorgeous view from the terrace. We visited the Spa in the afternoon. The Clarins Precious Facial Treatment was exactly what we needed after a long flight. It was performed professionally and we felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards. The Spa was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a well equipped gym that we did not have time to enjoy. Our dinner at Le Bellevue was just as good as lunch. The next day, the concierge arranged 2 champagne house visits for us ahead of time. We reserved the hotel car for a day so it was easy to get around the region. On the second evening, we had dinner at Le Royal. The dining room was beautiful. Food and service were impressive. After a lovely breakfast on the terrace on our final morning, we were taken back to Paris by the hotel car to catch our train to Avignon. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The experience felt relaxing, luxurious and seamless. Staff were kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
