Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa

Another fantastic stay at this fabulous hotel, which is well worthy of it's Palace designation. Beautifully situated and very well maintained it is the place to stay in the Champagne region. Welcome is outstanding and all the staff are friendly and available without being overbearing. Very good rooms with extensive views over the vines and every comfort provided. The piece de resistance is the gastronomic restaurant, Le Royal, where the staff lead by M Charlier and sommelier M Marques, make a fantastic team. The food ( Head Chef M Raoux) was outstanding. Particular mention of the Sardines a la Flamme and the Crab and Caviar- mouth watering. We have no idea why this is only rated a one Rosette Michelin. It is time the inspectors woke up and smelt the coffee. A must visit.

We stayed for two nights at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa after spending a night at the Ritz Paris, and it was the perfect way to continue our trip into the Champagne region. The hotel is amazing and, in my opinion, definitely one of — if not the — main luxury choices in the region. It is beautifully appointed throughout, and our room was spacious, comfortable and had the most beautiful views over the Champagne vineyards. Waking up to that view really was something special. We organised transfers with the hotel’s car service both to and from the hotel, as well as for our visits to the different vineyards. I unfortunately don’t remember the owner’s name, but I have to give him a massive shout-out! He was so courteous, professional and genuinely humorous, and he really treated us like family throughout our time with him. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and a real credit to the hotel. It definitely says a lot about the Royal Champagne that they have such great suppliers looking after their guests. The hotel also worked some magic for us and managed to arrange a last-minute visit to Ruinart. We had been unable to book it through the website and were told that visits would normally need to be booked months in advance, but the hotel somehow managed to secure us a reservation. It was such a memorable experience and something we really appreciated. The breakfast was lovely, as was the food generally, and we also had an amazing massage and facial during our stay. The indoor/outdoor pool area is fantastic and a great place to relax, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. If I had one small area of feedback, it would be the housekeeping. For some reason, our room wasn’t cleaned or turned down on the second day. It may have been entirely our fault, so I wouldn’t want to make too much of it, but it might be worth checking whether there is a Do Not Disturb button or setting, particularly as the rooms are quite high-tech. Overall, though, we had an amazing stay. The location, views, beautiful rooms, facilities and, most importantly, the wonderful people who looked after us made it a really special part of our trip. We would absolutely recommend the Royal Champagne and would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed at the Eoayl Champagne for two nights. It was a true luxury experience. The room was huge, and the king sized bed and pillows were beyond comfortable. I just didn’t want to get out of bed. So relaxing. The bathroom is huge. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure. The shower is large and the separate bathtub is deep. Very nice. The hotel sits on a hill with great views of the vineyards and village below. It was wonderful to sit on our room’s terrace with a glass of champagne before dinner. We made good use of the spa facilities. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool. They are large and well heated. The hammam (steam shower) and sauna are large and well maintained. My only criticism of the hotel is the rather slow breakfast service. There is an abundant array of breakfast foods. However, if you order coffee or an omelette you wait an inordinate amount of time.

I had the wonderful experience of staying at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa in September 2026, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I have had the privilege of staying at many five-star hotels around the world, but the level of attention to detail and personalized service provided by the staff at Royal Champagne was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, every aspect of my stay felt thoughtfully curated and effortless. The accommodations were absolutely out of this world. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking views surrounding the hotel was an experience I will never forget. I also had the opportunity to enjoy both the restaurant and the spa, and both were exceptional. What made my stay particularly memorable was the staff. Their recommendations for activities and experiences were excellent, and their ability to accommodate every request I had went far beyond what I have experienced at other luxury properties. They consistently made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Royal Champagne is much more than a beautiful five-star hotel—it is an experience. I am incredibly grateful for the memories created during my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional and truly unforgettable getaway.

Very bad experience. The reception staff are terrible. Rooms not clean. They just want your money. I had a massage in the spa. The woman who massaged me wasn’t educated and broke one rib on me. I couldn’t sleep whole night because of pain and had to go to hospital when I came back home. My trip that was so nice in other cities changed to a catastrophe through stay in Royal. They even damaged my car in wallet parking so I had to pay extra for it. They never said a word about that. DO NOT recommend them at all. There are many other nice places to go in France.
